Myrtle and Harold A. Dietze must have split up just before 1960 because on their son, Roger Harold Dietze's obituary, it appears they were already split up and Harold is living in Petoskey and married to Mrs. Viola Stark by 1960.
Myrtle married John D. Purcell in 1967, they lived back and forth to Walloon Lake and Avon Park, FL. John D. Purcell died and is buried in Florida. Myrtle died in Michigan two months later, see obituary on her memorial.
The think that confuses us is that she is on the Dietze headstone with her children with no mention of the Purcell name. The funny thing is that on her 2nd husband, John D. Purcell, they have added Myrtle to his headstone that makes it appear that she is buried there, but in fact, she is in the Maple Lawn Cemetery.
Thanks for fixing the duplicate Winnifred Dietze, I was going to go back and delete my duplicate but you beat me to it. Sorry, I just realize that this morning. I was able to link her to her husband Carl/Karl, YAY! This was really confusing. Thanks for putting up with all the edits!
Is that a chihuahua as your photo? I have one too, his name is Chico (original, I know) we call him Cheeks most of the time.
