US Army General. He was educated in the Chester schools, and became a bookkeeper with the Delaware County Trust Company. He later operated a successful real estate development business, and constructed homes, hotels and apartments in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. In 1886 he enlisted in Company B, 6th Regiment, Pennsylvania National Guard. He was later commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the 3rd Regiment and worked his way through the ranks, including serving as Lieutenant Colonel and regimental second in command during the Spanish-American War. He commanded the regiment as a Colonel beginning in 1901. In 1910 he became commander of the 1st Brigade as a Brigadier General, and he served until 1917, including participation in the 1916 Mexican Border Expedition. Price commanded the 28th Divisionís 53rd Field Artillery Brigade during World War I, and took part in all the major combat operations of 1918. In 1920 he became commander of the 28th Infantry Division as a Major General, and served until retiring in 1933. In 1955 Price received state promotion to Lieutenant General on the retired list. His decorations included the Army Distinguished Service Medal, the French Croix de Guerre, and the Belgian Croix de Guerre.
Hi How are you doing? Yes I got married on June 28 of this year. Things are going well thank you. Hope your doing well. Yes George Dubell was born in 1843 and died Dec 24 1862 of a fever while he was in Virginia fighting in the Civil war. You take care and it was nice hearing from you.
