I was born in Missouri in the 1940's, graduated from Parkview HS and SMS (now MO State Univ)in Springfield, also Pittsburg (KS) State, grad work at Penn State & U MD. I taught school in the St. Louis suburbs and Maryland D.C.suburbs , then retired to Florida. I am a descendent of John Hore Chancellor who moved with his adult children from Virginia to Howard County, Missouri about 1850. He was a grandson of John & Jane Monroe Chancellor. The descendants of the brother of John [& Jane] Chancellor also moved to other spots in Missouri about the same time. I am also a descendent of the families Bonham, Bush, Boggs, Fitzgerald, Gearhardt, Hore, Monroe, Nunnelly, Rogers, & Tearle. My wife is a descendent of the MD & PA families Benson, Hilton, Lear, Mullinex, Schwartz, & Watkins.
