An Uncle of mine, father's side, had done a family tree long before the Internet. My mother mentioned one time that she wished someone would do that for her.

I'm researching my mother's family and trying to fill in gaps in my father's family. My mother-in-law (we get along ok)asked me to do her family.

The surnames I'm researching are,in Pennsylvania: Coleman, Silvis, Procious, McDowell. In Indiana: Hanlin and Patterson. In South Carolina: Craft, Welsh, Welch, Faile and Faulkenbury. In Tennessee: Hammer, Hammers.

Since I live in New Bern, N.C. I'm going to try and start making time to go to cemeteries in the area to take photos for people, weather permitting.
