Please contact me via E-mail at [email protected] - NOT on my profile page please, please include the memorial number so I know who we are talking about.

OK, Now let me start by saying that I do VERY MUCH appreciate anyone who has taken their time to enter memorials in this wonderful system. Without your contribution this system would not be as wonderful as it is today. If you are one of the great photographers that waits for the perfect light and gets down on their knees to take that close up shot I applaud you and thank you for your hard work!

Something I have learned poking around here for a while now. It is pointless to enter thousands and thousands of memorials if you are not going to respond to update requests so the data you have entered is accurate. There is no badge of honor for keying in pages of cemetery books only to ignore correction and linkage requests for the individuals you have entered. If you are going to support this project please respond to the update requests quickly or transfer the memorial to the requestor so that they can make the updates. They obviously have been doing some research for a reason. Please don't be a roadblock here.

I normally post SAC update requests sent to me in 2 weeks. If the memorial has not been updated in that time send me another SAC request please because it is a good indication I probably missed or did not get your first request.

Another thing I have learned is it helps to park your emotions and hot buttons at the door. We are all here to support this project and help it grow and develop. Sometimes it is easy to loose sight of that common goal. If you are easily offended by a simple request or find that you begin to take feedback too personally try to remember this is a community and not just your own playground. For this place to work we all have to work together and that requires some tolerance from everyone involved.

I have been working my family tree for more than 30 years. Lost all my computer data and working to rebuild my files. Family names of PERSONS, BADER, COX, NEIMAN, SUTTON, EMERY, AUMBERIC, GUTTING, RAU, VanWORMER, and others.
Son of the American Revolution.
Photographer, Geocacher, and Waymarker.

Photographers: If you can, take a photo of the grave to the left and the grave to the right of your targeted grave and create a memorial for each if they do not already exist. Your photos are critical for this projects success.

Remember to back up your data! and ALWAYS have FUN!
