RE: Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens
I stay fairly busy with requests, although when I was there yesterday I did take several other grave photos and post them, Agnes and Bob Wright, Nancy Jo Potter, Carl W. Tucker, Vickie Brasington, Dena & William Hillman, and Gracie and Olin Cook. I worked on those last night, posting the photos and researching links. The Manager's name is Mrs. Kolb, in the event you run into any problems.

RE: Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens
Angi, I was there this morning and got the same snarly response from the woman whom I had initial contact with, sitting just inside the front door. I then asked to speak with her supervisor. I waited patiently while the Manager finished with a bereaved family. I waited approx. an hour. The Manager finished with the family and asked what she could do to help me. I introduced myself in a professional manner and explained what I needed, starting with one request. During the course of conversation I explained the corporation we received from the other local perpetual care cemeteries, then showed her the list of 43 requests for her cemetery and explained the reason, that the person who answers the telephone always refuses and is quite short. We then had a very pleasant conversation during which I made sure she was aware that we are strictly volunteers who are investing our time and resources as a community service to the families of the deceased. Afterwards she gladly accepted a printed copy of the 43 pending requests. Shad stated she would personally look them up and call me when she is finished. She showed me a large map of the property and explained the layout, and agreed to make copies for me by sections. I think one of the reasons the first person was so snarly, they are not computerized and it would have entailed her going to the paper files in another room and obtaining the requested information. It may have helped that I grew up in that community (many years ago) and have a large number of family currently residing in the cemetery. I will photo those as she provides the information and any further requests for Crescent Hill, since I hope I have established a positive relationship. Will let you know further. Thanks for inquiring as well as all you efforts on behalf of the families and loved ones seeking.

I am sorry but I don't do photo's at the cemeteries anymore. Would love to but don't have a camera anymore. Just post it for a pic of it on the site and hopefully someone will pick it up and go get the pic for you! Once again, sorry.

RE: Enon Cemetery
So sorry I moved away from Ohio to Colorado in September 2014 you may wish to message the original photographer and see if she will return to Byesville for your request.

You are so very welcome! It was never my intention to keep your g and gg grandmother's memorials if we found one another. I think the memorials should go to the closest relative if possible rather than to a person who isn't related. Even though I am related but not a direct one, it isn't mine to keep since it is your direct line. Your gg grandmother was related to me by marriage not blood. If we had not found each other I would have continued to manage them both with love.

If there's anything I can do further that has slipped my memory, please refresh it to me.

Enjoy and manage it with love as it was given to you.

Regards, Tunie
