RE: Linkhorn photos
Ya know what I just thought of.... if you have a facebook account, why don't you try posting something on there about what you are looking for and maybe someone in that line will pick up on it and be able to help you. I know there are still Linkhorn's living in New Concord, Ohio but don't really know any of them personally. Keep me posted if you find them.

RE: Linkhorn photos
Hi Angi,
I honestly don't have a clue as to who would have those photos. I have never met any of the relatives for the Selby's. Frank's half sister died last January and she was the last one of his half siblings. She would have been a good one to ask about that. Sorry!

Ella Dibble at Briar Hill
Ella's name is on the back of the stone for Alva and Lottie. The dates appear to be June 2, 1864 - Jan 27, 1866. Alva, Lottie, Andrew and Charlotte are all on sides of the same grave stone.

I may have other Dibbles at Briar Hill. I took about 500 photos there and ran out of energy in posting them. Ella's was one I had not posted. If I find any other Dibbles I will post them and let you know.

Dibbles at Briar Hill
Busy alternately shoveling snow, napping and playing with the cat.

I will be glad to transfer the Dibbles at Briar Hill to you but it may be a few days.

RE: Mary Polly Walker Price
Angi,

So sorry that I am so long in answering your inquiry about Polly Walker. I have had health issues since March that have had to take the front seat in my life.

I am a 4th gr granddaughter and have been researching Polly's birthplace and parentage off and on for about 18 years. I think that she is related in some way to the Robert Walker that married her and David in 1808 but haven't been able to connect them. I do not live in Ohio so am unable to go there to research further.

There are a lot of Walkers buried in and around Hudson, OH and some of them were from VA and PA but I haven't found any with a daughter of the correct name, etc. Then there's the possibility that she could have been born in what is now W VA. It was once part of VA.

If there is any info that I might have about her and her family please email me direct and I will try to supply it to you.

Which of her offspring are you descended from? I come from her eldest daughter, Ann.

Regards....Tunie

Linkhorn
I was so pleased to find the Linkhorn pictures. I have a journal written by my great-grandmother, Velvie Elizabeth Linkhorn Stage, that describes the Linkhorn family. She loved them very much. I have much census information on them. I checked what I have and Franklin Slay was born in 1889 which means the older woman in the Slay/McCreary picture probaby is not Sarah Linkhorn, since she passed away in 1888. I sure was hoping it was her, but it looks like it probably is not. Thanks for all of your hard work. Find A Grave is a project I make take on. I have several pictures already, and my husband and I love to visit grave sites.
