I've been researching my family roots off and on for 20 years. At what point they became more of a person than a name on paper, I'm not sure but it happened and I'm glad. A hundred years from now, hopefully someone will feel that I'm more than just a name written on a death certificate and a tombstone in a cemetery. [Edit]|

If you are the Jeanie I know you and my dad did a lot of family research together. If you are I haven't talk to you in years and I'm sorry to hear Gearldine passed away in March. If you do know me pls reply to this on the site or you can email me at email@example.com. Thanks and have a nice day.

|Ruth Smith||Backus Family at Fairmount|
Hello - I was at Fairmount today looking for graves for the Backus family. Some of them are listed as buried in the P section (sometimes called poor) and some are listed as buried in section 3, lot 48. There were no stones in either section for them so I took a picture of the area where they would have been. If you are related and would prefer this picture not be posted, let me know and I will remove it.
Thanks. Ruth Smith
