I've been researching my family roots off and on for 20 years. At what point they became more of a person than a name on paper, I'm not sure but it happened and I'm glad. A hundred years from now, hopefully someone will feel that I'm more than just a name written on a death certificate and a tombstone in a cemetery. [Edit]|

|Ruth Smith||Backus Family at Fairmount|
Hello - I was at Fairmount today looking for graves for the Backus family. Some of them are listed as buried in the P section (sometimes called poor) and some are listed as buried in section 3, lot 48. There were no stones in either section for them so I took a picture of the area where they would have been. If you are related and would prefer this picture not be posted, let me know and I will remove it.
Thanks. Ruth Smith
