I have been interested in cemeteries and such since I was a little boy. It started waaaay back when I would visit my grandmother in Springfield, IL (I cannot count the number of times I have been to Lincoln's Tomb at Oak Ridge Cemetery). Since then, I have frequented many a final resting place across many parts of the USA.
As for the transferring of memorial pages, I have no qualms about it, just as long as there is good reason or sense behind the request.
James S Rawlings Hello Patrick: Apparently the cemetery gave you an incorrect location for the gravesite of James S Rawlings. Will you kindly delete the photo of the grassy plot area from this memorial since I've added a photo? James S Rawlings, 1870-1953 in Elmwood Cemetery, Memphis - Memorial #80492792. Thanks a lot.
New Editing Function "FindaGrave has added a new editing function to all members. Check the 'Edit' tab on your profile page for pending edit requests for your memorials."
You currently have one or more such edit requests on your profile page. Most edit requests are no longer sent from FindaGrave with an email notice to the memorial creator/current manager. You have to go to your profile page and check the Edit tab to see the requests for additions or changes to your memorials.
Please check your profile page so that the requested edits can be processed. FindaGrave has made this change to facilitate rapid handling of multiple edit requests.
Andrew Jackson Donelson (#117547533) I see that you claimed the photo request I put out. Can I ask if I have to do anything for the next step? I'm still new on this site, and haven't found the answer to that particular question.
John Langdon Wardlaw gravestone found! Hi Patrick! Thank you so much for finding this gravestone and adding the photo on the memorial page! You are my first one to find a gravestone for me! This is really exciting! My tree is 'America Wardlaws'. Thanks! Diane
