Bio and Links
Bio Photo Four years ago I came across this website and found a great-grandmother I was looking for. Ever since then I have been using this website to locate and add family.

I've also done a considerable amount of genealogy on the families of Bartholomew County, Indiana. Families researched include: Yeley, Robertson, May, Trotter, Adams, Anderson, Ault, Barr, Biddinger, Bishop, Blessing, Boaz, Bonnell, Boyer, Browning, Bruce, Brumfield, Bruner, Burch, Carrington, Carter, Chambers, Chandler, Clevenger, Clouse, Cohee, Conway, Cooper, Cowden, Cox, Critser, Davis, DeBusk, Delmont, Devers, Dodd, Donica, Drake, Essex, Everroad, Fear, Finkel, Flora, Fodrea, Fortner, Galbraith, George, Glick, Harker, Harrington, Harry, Hedge, Hitchcock, Hodler, Holder, Holland, Homsher, Hook, Huffer, Huffman, Hughes, Hull, Hunter, Isgrigg, Jewell, Jordan, Keller, Kissling, Kocher, Lambert, Linson, Lorts/Lortz, McCalip, McCallie, McClintic, McQueen, Miller, Mobley, Moore, Nading, Neptune, New, Newsom, Norton, O'Neal, Ogilvie, Oliver, Olmstead, Ott, Percifield, Petree, Ping, Poland, Pumphrey, Quick, Quinn, Rawlings, Reed, Renner, Rogers, Roland, Romine, Rominger, Roome, Rothrock, Seward, Shumaker, Sidener, Simmons, Sims, Snyder, Sparks, Spaugh, Spaulding, Sprague, Stader, Steenbarger, Stewart, Stuckey, Sweeney, Talkington, Taylor, Tetrick, Thayer, Thompson, Trembly, Tuttle, Vanskike, Wasson, Whittington, and Wolf/Wolfe.

My mother's family consists of: Dufty, Frisby, Lundy, Brenizer, Hiner, Todd, Landreth, Bell, Drake, Price, Hinds, Higday, Larkin, Kennedy, Buscher, and Thimesch.

My father's family includes: Powell, Anderson, Hawkins, Yeley, Cooper, Robertson, Wade, Balser, Lamar, and Smarsh.

I live just outside of Denver, Colorado in the summer but am a student the rest of the year in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. We support the Friends of Historic Riverside Cemetery in Denver with its ongoing restoration and eventual preservation. I welcome any and all revisions to all memorials!!! Thanks!!!

STILL ACTIVE, please have patience as I am an incredibly busy college student trying to get a Major in Historic Preservation. I'll do my best to fulfill all requests for editing and transfers. When making requests of transfers and revisions please make them through the edit tab on the email so I will receive an email.

Find A Grave Changes
Have you figured out that Find a Grave has done some more changes?

A friend pointed this out or I would have overlooked it. How often do you go in on your profile page unless someone has sent you a public message?

If you go into your profile page and it will say:

Profile - Messages Edits - Contributor Tools - Edit My Profile

That word EDITS has just been added and may have a number by it --click on it and it will bring down what you need to edit or what you have sent to others to edit.

I have sent you a edit/s and they haven't been completed. Hope this helps.

James Jacobus Quick 35239026
Hi Nick,

I thought I might ask what you knew about James Jacobus Quick.

My ggg-grandmother was Phoebe Quick Benton, wife of Jesse Benton. Her father was Teunis/Tunis "Tony" Quick of North Carolina, he died in KY in 1809. She had a son Richard Teunis Benton. She had a brother that I have down at Jacobus James Quick. I think I have confused this James Jacobus with him on death date, hence I found him!

I show "my" Jacobus James Quick b 1786 married Deborah Benton, sister of my ggg-grandfather Jesse Benton.

You can see the names are very similar, so likely they have common ancestors. This James Jacobus would be the right age to be Teunis(Tunis)Tony Quick's brother.

It seems likely all are descended from Teuniz Thomazen Quick 66778689 and his wife Belijtgen Jacobus 66783125. I can't prove it, though, as I don't know who Tunis/Tony's parents are. There was a man about the same age, approximate time of death and name buried in NJ.

Always fun to look!

Florence Adeltha Dufty
I am a Higday descendant and came across a photo of Florence Adeltha Higday Dufty, Almira Jane Higday and Arthur Wood Dufty. It was sent to Clara Higday. If you would like me to send you a copy just let me know. Also do you happen to have any Higday Photos that you could share. I am collecting photos and information on All of the Higday's.

Louisanna Rebecca Boyer Guthrie Carmichael
Hi again Nick, Louisanna Rebecca Boyer Guthrie Carmichael is my great great grandmother. If possible, could you transfer her memorial to me so that I can add her husbands names and her children's names to her memorial? Thank you so much! Are you relation to the names that you have searched in Bartholomew County such as Davis? Thanks for transfering.

Ovilla Jane Hook
Hi, Orilla Jane Hook is my great great grandmother buried at Newbern Indiana cemetery and wife of Mathias Hook. If it would be possible, I would like her memorial transferred to me. I know her maiden name and parents names and would like to have that on her memorial if you can not transfer her memorial. Thank you so much for considering it.

Nick, this is a gentle reminder of the general rules of Findagrave, that you have 30 days within which to make SAC's. If you do not complete requests within 30 days, the requesting member may submit the info to administrators to complete and/or make transfers. I don't mean to be unkind; am just trying to give you a gentle nudge. Thanks, Dianne

Janice Dyer Doran
Hi Nick,
I'm working on connecting my Scott line. I'm looking to connect Corp. Thomas fletcher Scott's children and wondered if your Minnie R. Scott Yeley #34665828 is one of his children? If so will you connect her to her parents?
