I've been doing genealogy for 40+ years. This site has been invaluable to me, and I want to help as many people as I can who may need photos or information from their northern Michigan ancestors. The Internet has been wonderful for those of us who aren't able to travel all around to do research. Fortunately, I'm able to get away and wander the cemeteries of my ancestors at least once a year. It's always exciting to find even just one headstone from the past . . .
