Thomas Cecil Rhodes Hi, What is the source of your information for him? He was my uncle. I do know that his ashes were lost. Another Find A Grave member has created an entry for him in Red Deer. Memorial # 133983388 Thanks, Geof
PEACOCK as requested on the 9th I have entered both Kathleen and Arthur Ripley Peacock in the North Vancouver semtery but of course cannot link their son Arthur Neil as he is in a different cemetery (Capilano View). Please delete the entry under Capilano for the father Arthur Ripley Peacock so I can link this family. Thanks.
92247883 Garrett Setters, Elizabeth In this listing for my Gr Great Grandmother, I see her children are also listed as her siblings. Could you please correct this? The only sibling I have found for her so far is Peter Setters dob 26 June 1931 death 16 May 1905. Thank you for your help.
Memorial 120108968 Annie Dowds Please update her memorial to reflect that she is buried in the Veterans Cemetery in Esquimalt - in the same grave as her husband (his memorial number is 155185041). We have uploaded photos of their grave.
How to Delete Hi again. I looked this info up on the 'Help Page' to save you the trouble if you don't know how to delete your duplicate entries. Looks simple and quick to do. Copied and pasted the answer below.
How do I update or delete a memorial that I manage? In order to update, correct or delete information that YOU have added, simply go to the grave record you would like to alter and click the 'Edit' or 'Delete' link under the person's name. (You may also click on the Edit tab and then click on the link to edit specific information or delete the memorial.) You must be 'logged in' to Find A Grave in order to edit or delete records. To determine whether or not you are logged in, look at the bottom of the left menu. It will tell you if you are logged in or not. If you are NOT logged in, just click the 'log in' link and enter the account information you used when you added the person you are attempting to edit.
Duplicate entries - 2nd message to you About a year or so ago I sent you a message to let you know you duplicated 2 memorials added to this site 4 years before you added them. They are for my grandfather and uncle, both named William Fairbairn Melville in Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver, BC, Canada. The original entry #s are 26285897 & 26356780 created by Headstone Genealogist on April 23 & 24, 2008 and transferred to me to maintain before you added yours on November 12, 2012 (your #s are 100601815 & 100601906).
I scrolled through your 195 messages twice (only read the first few and 2 others have also contacted you about duplicating entries) but my original message is no longer there. Did it get deleted? I've only ever sent a few messages and I guess the Sent ones aren't available to the Sender b/c I only have the ones I've received hence I don't know the exact date I 1st contacted you but it was many months ago.
So, why haven't you fixed these mistakes and removed your duplicate entries? I'm pretty sure you read my 1st message b/c you added info from my memorials to yours and yet there's still incorrect details (i.e. the location of my grandfather's ashes is NOT unknown and his mother's maiden name is NOT Fairbairn). You have my aunt, Minnie Page nee Melville, linked to your entries and I'd like to link her where she properly belongs and to more of her relatives. I would also really appreciate you transferring her memorial #100600623 to me to maintain so I can add more information and photos.
PLEASE CONTACT ME THIS TIME so we can fix this problem. You seem to be a very committed member of this website and have worked very hard to add and maintain over 7000 entries. I applaud you for efforts but I also think accuracy is very important and duplicate entries MUST be corrected. Thank you.
William Nuttall FaG # 101490494 We have send you an edit as to the place of death; according to his death registration he in fact died at Veterans Hospital, which is in Saanich (not Victoria) by about 100 meters.
