RE: Pics in E/G
Hey there was a cemetery on Cherry and 7th st. at one time and in really bad shape years ago, do you happen to know the name of that cemetery? That was by the old stockade, I looked on goole to see if I could find it again and it looks like very few markers remain. Do you know what cemetery I am talking about? Do you know the name of it? I wondered if the Washington library has any early surveys...Cat

RE: Josephine V. Braswell in Mt Pleasant
I think the "Oct 20" has erroneously been picked up from the dod for Josephine, wife of Willis. Daughter of Abner and Josephine, Vidalia "Della" Braswell was born circa 1893.

RE: Maggie Jessup Shaw obit
I am so thrilled that someone is working on Macon Memorial. I was thinking about going to Macon to help with Evergreen if it's needed. If there is a section that has not be photographed let me know and I will jump right in. I will print out your map there....I knew I had alot of family there but they were there in the 1800's so yes.....possibly you could email me with a section circled that you have not photographed yet? The work you have done and also Lori Beecham I'm just so grateful.

For Maggie Shaw the mother's name was left off, I'm not sure if I left it off by error or you are retyping instead of copying and pasting but would you mind adding the mother's name as Frances Jones Jessup in the obit? I also linked her to her mother but I have not located the father yet.

There is an old cemetery where the old stockade used to be-Broadway (at one time 4th st)I think is MLK now-would that area be considered South Macon? From Broadway it was one or two blocks in the direction away from the main rd. I cannot remember the name of it, but seems like it was near the old pants factory. Do you know what that cemetery is called? The cemetery was in really bad shape when I visited YEARS AGO. Do you happen to know what that cemetery is called? Cat

RE: Mamie Odom in R/S
Thank you for the information on Riverside! I have a few out there but I think they are unmarked, now I can check it out myself. I actually found the correct Mamie yesterday night she died in Upson Co looking up Odom information for my Aunt. Thank you for all you do for this site, take care with this heat! Thanks again, Cat

RE: Mary Davidson in Evergreen
It was nice meeting you at Cedar Ridge today. We appreciate all the work you do on Findagrave and the work you have done and are doing for the cemeteries. We rode by Jones Chapel and we have to agree with you that it is gone. I am so thankful we were able to visit the Gray family graves while it was still accessible. I found another obit of Hiram Davidson that I can email you which matches the date on the death certificate and also states he was buried in Cedar Ridge. Also I have obits on Mary Davidson. My email address is I believe there is another Hiram that was born in 1844 but I'm not sure yet how he fits into this. Thanks again. Christine Milam
