I often grab pictures of graves being sunk or covered by tree roots so they won't be lost. Sometimes I don't have time to clean them as I try to do as many as I can .

I'm sure you notice that there was no marker. I have a very good map so I could find his plot.

This is my GREAT aunt and if anyone would like more family information, I will be more than glad to get it to you. My Grandfather, Earl Alexander RICHEY, was one Aunt Roxie's brothers. There were 4 girls and 4 boys.

Mount Carmel Cem-Gilmore Gravesite
I've posted a picture to the page for John Gilmore. The stone is a north facing stone which means that it will never get sunlight on it which would make it easier to read. I'll try and see on a cloudy day if the stone is easier to read. I'll also be posting pictures to Susan, Annie, Thomas, Mary(Marie)(who is on the opposite side of the headstone) and you know if George's middle name is Robert? His stone (which doesn't have a date of death) lists "George Robert" (each on their own line). On the layout of the stones there is a line of small stones labeled "George Robert", "Mary", "Father", "Mother", "Thomas" and "Annie". There is a stand up monument (which is between Mary's and Father's small stones and oriented perpendicular to the other small stones) with Susan, John and Annie on one side and Marie on the other. George and Thomas are not on the big stone.

tree roots
I enjoy graves covered by tree roots. My top virtual cemetery is "!GRAVESTONE-EATING TREES!" Please tell me of any that you know. I am most grateful for your consideration.

Marie Whips McEnnis
Hi Carolyn,

Thanks for linking her to her parents and adding her maiden name. But you can remove the "W" for her middle initial. The "W" was indicating her maiden surname. Actually her middle initial is J.
So, it would show like this: Marie J. McEnnis with Whips as her maiden surname.
She is not part of my family. She is peripherally attached to some distant cousins and is therefore part of my genealogical database. I try to find burial locations whenever possible and attempt to link folks or provide pertinent info. Go ahead and keep her.

Happy hunting!

RE: Gertrude Mae EICHBLATT Appelt 76563002
Hmmm Feney's memorial seems to have disappeared.

I have a photo of her headstone that I took from the memorial. Her death certificate says she is in this cemetery.

Thank you for the kind offer of transferring care of Gertrude's memorial to me. If you will do that, I will create a new memorial for Philomena and add the link.

Yes, I am LDS--true blue, dyed in the wool through and through. Best wishes

Re: Paul Pursch
Thanks very much for the offer, Carolyn, but I'm not related to him. Also, thank you so much for adding the links, but I just noticed that the father's link was added twice and the mother not added, if you could please add her.

Thanks again for your help,
