I caught the genealogy bug in my teens when my twin aunts were researching my maternal grandfathers and grandmothers family history and cemeteries. I have been actively taking photos the past 2 years for findagrave.|
I'm not here for the numbers. I will be happy to transfer; I want family members to be able to update their own.
I like to link relatives up; be prepared to do lots of links with me. I rely on www.familysearch.org to locate my information.
My pictures are your pictures, please use them accordingly. I'm forever grateful for strangers taking pictures of my relatives!
I started taking photos at Geary Cemetery in Geary, Oklahoma October 2014. I will eventually walk the whole cemetery.

Thanks for the info. I deleted it.
|Denise Kruta||Thank you for the alert|
pertaining to my mom's grandfather Benjamin Burns being disconnected from his mother, but still connect to his father whose memorial I maintain.
I'm still trying to figure out how he got disconnected from his mother Isabel Wolford.

The Oklahoma Clevengers also have a big branch living in Texas. I worked on the Clevenger family tree for a close friend. Her aunt was a big family historian in Lawton and had documented much of the family. The Texas Clevengers contacted me with their part of the line. It's a very old family that started in colonial NY & NJ in the mid-1600s.

Angie, Are you by any chance related to the Oklahoma Clevenger's? I'm wondering how you happened to stumble onto her memorial.

Thank You for the nice photo added to her Memorial.
Her Memorial looks so nice.

I know EXACTLY what you mean! Since these are people I don't know either, I'm always willing to pass them on to people with some connection. I particularly enjoy when a connection with an infant is made. Yes, it is rewarding to fill in information. Thank you!
