My Grandfather, Clyde Hankins of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, kept records of several lines; Hankins of Ohio & Iowa, Lee VA. Ohio, Iowa and Oregon, Madsen (Danish), Harrison (NC & IA). I have researched the Appleman Family of NJ, PA, Ohio and Wisconsin. Have printed copies of my Appleman research several times the latest being Sept. 2015.
Other lines include Kromrey (Germany), Robinson (England & Iowa),
Pettit Ohio, Ames Ohio and Wisconsin and Merringer, Wurtemburg, Germany, NY and Iowa.
