I am the ggg grand son of Moses Harris and Frances Bilbrey Harris. Moses Harris settled in Overton County, TN around 1805 in the Oak Hill area. His land holdings included what is now called Harris Mountain as well as land at the base of the mountain. The Harris Chapel Church is also on property that he once owned.

I still live in Overton County some 8 or 10 miles from Harris Chapel area.
