|Blytha & Donald Ellis||RE: Elizabeth Bowen Teter|
I don't think I am related. As I remember, I just found this information in some research I was doing and noticed that the memorial did not have her maiden name nor her birth date or place of birth. I sent it to the owner of the memorial and when they did not add the information for quite some time, I put it in a flower. Now, I see the owner has added the information, so I can delete my flower. I just hate for information to be lost, and this was before a person could actually add or edit the memorial of another person online. However, I am related by marriage to a Warner Bowen who came from Knox Co., Missouri, and died in the State of Washington or Oregon. I don't know if this is the same family or not.

Mary's first husband, John Whiteside, Sr., had John Whiteside, Jr. from whose line I am descended.
Thank you for contacting me, Cousin.

I posted photos of Emeline's grave stones today. It reads EMELINE HUSSELMAN AMSTUTZ 1856-1923. She is buried next to her husband Jacob.

Kristie...typing in the car (not driving) & all the jerking in rush has made writing difficult. May I ask that you pleaSe delete message I sent with name of other contributor. Did not realize I had typed name earlier. Find a Grave protocol...I will do same. Thx. Sorry about the memorial. You could write Find A Grave if you feel strongly about it. I do now recall the obit. It is why I sent you a message. I was checking the memorial since I had just claimed the photo request. There was no mention of the name Armstrong in the obit & O believe it appeared that the yr of mariage & YOD death were the same.

That is interesting. Was that recently? Might you recall who the message was from? If the two memorials are for the same person, yours would have priority since it was created in 2010 & the Weikles (I think thatd their name) in 2012. Might you be able to message me a copy of the obit? It would be helpful when I go to the library. I can check internment, death and family records. I should also be able to obtain a location of the grave site. When I get to cemetery depends on weather. Wind chill predicted to be -25 degrees tomorrow!

A photo request was submitted for the above by you for a memorial you created. I am wondering, though, if information is correct as to surname & DOD. I found what I suspect is a duplicate the name being Emeline Husselman Amstutz @ the same cemetery. I am currently out of town until tomorrow. Otherwise I would ck out at the local genealogy library today. If this is a relative, perhaps you can recheck records? Ck family links on your memorial & go to Jacob Amstutz. There you will 2 wives listed named Emeline.

An Eagle Scout photographed all of Pioneer Memorial Gardens in Moses Lake and put it on BillionGraves. Here is a photo of Lenzie Watson's headstone there:
I plan to check back in the spring to see if anyone has filled your FindAGrave photo request.
Have a great day!

|Carol ||Simpson Chapel|
I am a great grand child of Benjamin Douthit. As I said in my other posting there are markers that have been pushed off into a ditch at Simpson Chapel.
I have been thinking of having a marker made at the Marengo Monument Co with the Douthits on it and Mary and Ben Neal Sloan's five children that died at a very young age and placing it in the Marengo Cem Ben Neal Sloan's marker is hard to read so this one would replace his.
I would keep the record recorded at Simpson Chapel Cem.
The reason to put a nice new marker at Marengo Cem is that I feel it would be safer there than Simpson Chapel.
How are you related? I plan to be in the area late March.

|Katie Hanes McClain||RE: memorial 85082968 Nancy Matney Corel|
You asked if I'm related - not sure since my line comes through William Rogers/Rebeckah Oney; Susanne Rogers (child) married to Joshua Matney; William Andrew Matney (child) married to Keziah Elizabeth Hensley; Mary Alice Matney (child) is my grandma. Thanks for your quick reply and look forward to hearing from you as to whether you think this Rebeckah Oney married to Corel was also married to William Rogers (I find no proof for that, but see there is a tree posted that shows same.)
