I was born and raised in San Leandro, California. And I live near some cemeteries which contain some notable people in Hayward, San Lorenzo, and Oakland. |
I am a lifelong Tabophile, which is a person who is favorable, and fond of cemeteries and their artistic cemetery tombstone graveyard lost arts. I love the Classic OLD cemetery arts, NOT the " SLAB plate" in the ground. The "slab in the ground" doesn't cut it for me. I like classic tombstones, the ones that tell a "story" (symbols professing the occupation, or faith, and or general).
Time lost all its meaning. I mean, that the mausoleum that I visit .. you can see the changes through the decades. 60s,70s, 80s, 90s & 2000s. Classical has gone. It sux.
I like cemeteries equally as well because they're the one of the most quiet places to be. I mean YEAH, you are surrounded by dead people, but get a grip! GROW UP to all those who believe in "Zombie War"!!!!!, and all those stupid horror movies. It's quiet and peaceful. And to me I meditate and think alot when I'm there. Especially among passed friends. Yeah, I'm weird in a way, but I'm a likeable guy.
I also am a Bishop of a ministry as well. I hopefully will be contributing some additions for this marvelous website soon, as I have for many people here in the area. Starting with my long passed pet, Jaws. I have also contributed some photos of some cemeteries to a fellow Tab on www.graveaddiction.com
Beth has some awesome stuff as well.
I will be also adding my mom who has passed on August 31st,2011( this text will b erased when it is placed)
