*****If I have a picture of a tombstone already on the memorial, please do not add another. Adding multiple pictures of the same stone clog up the memorial and other pictures can not be added by the family when transferred. Thank you.******
****A big THANK YOU to all of the people who contribute to Find A Grave, whether it is adding memorials, pictures, taking volunteer photos or adding flowers/token. We all make this a wonder site and a wealth of information****
I was thrilled when I found this site. I have loved cemeteries since I was little and love the thought of making memorials for those we loved and those long ago forgotten about.
I like to wander the cemetery and try to photograph an entire section. Not always an easy task. But well worth the effort.
If you see any errors or have additional information to add to my listings please let me know using the edit tab on the memorial.
Also, if we share any ancestors please contact me, I would love to share information, pictures, etc. My family names are my virtual cemeteries.
If you send me an email and do not hear from me, please send it again or send me a message thru the edit tab on the memorial. I see a lot of email from FAG contributors in my junk box. Not sure why some go there and some go to my inbox.

|Jean Dillard||RE: Cathy Ann Altvater|
Hi, no I won't be deleting Cathy or Nana's as they are in my immediate family and helped to raise and care for me until their deaths and I was actually in theirs lives and know the circumstances of their lives and deaths.
I have only recently located the Sun papers access through BPCL so I am adding Obits as I find them.
I don't know who the Bakers are but I remember that Grandpa Mel looked exactly like the picture you have! Cathy Ann was a bit morbid and into the old ways of photographer and she took a picture of him in his coffin at his viewing. I had that photo but may have lost it. Its nice to see him again and now I have an image much better than the coffin one.
He and Minnie lived separately and every Friday night he would come to our house for dinner with Cathy. One Friday night he came over as normal had dinner with Cathy, left and walked home to his apt. and had a heart attack putting his key in his door. He had just gotten over the Asian flu that was going around, it had damaged his heart and caused his heart attack. His was the 1st death I can remember. Cathy was a daddy's girl, he was greatly loved by that girl!
As Cathy is our only connection to the Altvater's I will only be adding siblings of hers and Mel's parents to our tree for her. Do you know if Mel had other children. I saw in his obit that he had a son, Edward, but I really do not remember anyone ever mentioning him.
If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Thank you so much for adding my Aunt Cathy to Find a Grave. I also added her with my sister and Nana. I didn't realize that someone else had. If you wouldn't mind, could you please transfer management to me as she is my family. I would greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much for the work you did in finding the gravesites of my Great Grandmother and Great Grandfather. And of Dottie, who was with him and took care of him in his later years. It would have been next to impossible for me to go there.
I am a member of the Find A Grave team and have updated many memorials with family information.
As of this time, I have not created any new memorial pages. Sometimes I spend a great amount of time in updating, but my feeling is - those who come behind me working on trees will have information which will tell them they have the right person.
Thanks so much for what you do.
Mary Counts Lichtenwald

Thanks for making my corrections. I am currently going thru the master cemetery records for the Deer Creek Harmony Church and correcting existing memorials and/or adding new memorials.
I am the temporary custodian for the cemetery and the records. It's a new experience for me.

|Jean Scarlott||Memorial # 99166043|
Memorial for Sarah E. Moffett wife of Daniel Moffett.
Daniel Moffett married Mrs. Sarah E. (Sallie) Downes Nov 1910. Melvin E, Downes is buried on the Moffett Plot but someone listed him as the son of Emma Moffett,which he isn't. He is the son of Sarah E. (Sallie) Downes Moffett. If this information could be added to Sarah's memorial. The person who listed the wrong mother for Melvin is now dec'd.
Thank you if you can help in this matter.
|latterday4||Charles W Beatty|
Hey Lisa, When you photographed this grave for Emma Beatty, was there a grave there for Charles W. Beatty? I cannot find any death information his parents at all. I was hoping that there might be information on his grave. Thanks.
I have his father listed as Charles W Beatty and his mother as Mary or Minnie C Abell

I would like to ask for permission to use pictures you have taken on Ancestry.com on my family tree. If this is something you would allow me and others also, you might add a note as such to your biography with any restrictions. Thank you very much for the time you have taken and the detail with which you do it.
