==================================
My feelings are in each family we are called to the ancestors.To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, To tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve.To me.doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but,instead,breathing life into all who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe. We have been called as it were by our genes. Those who have gone before cry out to us; Tell our story,So,we do. In finding them,we somehow find ourselves. How many times have I told the ancestors you have wonderful family.you would be proud of us? It goes beyond just documenting facts.. It goes to who I am and why I do the things I do? The bones here are bones of my bones and flesh of my flesh.It goes to doing something about it. It goes to pride in what are ancestors were able to accomplish.How they contributed to what we are today. It goes to respecting their hardships and losses,their never giving in or giving up. Their resoluteness to go on and build a life for their family. It goes to deep pride that they fought to make and keep us a nation. It goes to a deep and immense understanding that they were doing it for us. That we might be born who we are.That we might remember them. So we do.With love and caring and scribing each fact of their existence. Because we are them and they are us. So, as a scribe called,I TELL THE STORY OF MY FAMILY. It is up to that one called in the next generation, To answer the call and take their place in the long line of family storytellers. That is why I do my family gealogy.

When I first started my family resource. it was with great honor and respect to remember those who were my dearly closet family members. honored person's to served my country to keep me free.friends and most of all that that gave me live my dear loving parents. Noah and Nellie Turner.In the close five years that I have been searching for my family. friends I also wanted to add those whom I did not know.to help others who's love ones they may not be able to locate.this time the search for my love ones over the past few years has become more difficult then I expected, all thou, I still hope and pray by the will of God that I will beable to add or help anyone whomay want resource on a friend or family member that I have all ready added.but please do not ask me to transfer any of my family or closes friend. and picture maybe copied, but not transferred, and hope that its not for a sale to someone eles. remember you copied it FREE.when I started this I was in company with a very dear niece. who so enjoyed this.and helped me to get started.today 2013 along this past years I have losted afew close other relatives., that were apart of my life. or just there to talk to.this year alone I losted a dear niece.two great nephews.a niece has lost her mother-in-law, another niece has losted her father-in-law. what may behold in store for the rest of the year only the Lord knows.i look say here as I have so many times before. my resource is not to be counted my names or pictures. but remembering, honoring. missing terribly.theses family names for me are Turner-Hose-Sterling.my Turner's and Hose's are from Hardy Co,Wv,and my Sterling family is from Crisfield MD of the Eastern Shore.

''THE CENSUS TAKER''
======================
It was the first day of Census,and all through the land.The pollster was ready,a black book in hand.He mounted his horse for a long dusty ride;His books and some quills were close by his side;
Along winding ride down a road barey there;Toward the smell of fresh bread wofting up through the air.The woman was tired with lines on her face;and wispe of brown hair,She tucked into place.
She gave him some water,as they sat at the table.
He asked of her children.the best she was able.The oldest was twenty,the youngest not two.She held up a toddler with cheeks round and red;his sister she whipsered was napping in bed.
She noted each person who lived there with pride.and she felt the faint stirrings of the wee one inside.He noted the sex,the color,the age. The marks from the quill soon filled up the page.At the number of children.She nodded her head.and he saw her lips quiver for the three that were dead.The places of birth she never forgot,Was it Kansas?or Utah? or Orgean? or not?They came from Lithuania of that she was clear.But she wasn't quite sure,Just how long they been here. They spoke of employment of schooling and such.They could read some. and write some.though really not much;
When the questions were answered his job was done.So he mounted his horse.and rode toward the sun.We can almost imagine, his voice loud and clear May God Bless you all for another ten years. TO Those of you who keep reviewing my resources. ido not know how you can seek someone out who is trying to honor and remember their love one. several times i have bben ask to remove several of my immate family members.because considered dupleted. have you took a real hard look at mine as their there for remembrance not number like i believe all of yous who do big count numbers, mine are not there for num,bes but remember, i suppose not even 1/2 of yous dont even know all the people that yous add for numbers. well mine is not the case, all pics resouce and obits etc are all my finding and doing, by visiting, talking to such as family, friends, i have visited several of thses cemeteries thru the years, such as it may be of yous who add my family with a name poss headstone, why dont you check mine with full family resouce, and i do not have e-mail, nor do i use it.
