William Luce Gravestone Photo
Sue,
Thank you so much for taking a photo of William Luce's gravestone in Somers, CT. He was my 3rd Great Grandfather. I'm still looking for his wife, Lucretia ? who survived him past the 1850 census. I do not know her family name and only have ca b. of 1783. I know she is not buried in the Somers Cemetery.

It's great to have the photo. I have the epitaph and will add to his record.

Find A Grave 123851858 you fulfilled the photo request for me...thanks so very much. I was wondering if you had run across the memorial for George Washington Manning, her husband. I know he was born 28 Jun 1836 but I don't have a DOD for him. He was in the military from 24 Jan 1867-24 Aug 1870 and was in the 27th U.S. Infantry.

Thank You Sue! I was able to upload a new picture of Catherine's grave stone with the dirt moved away to see the "C" my cousin Ralph who lives near Mount St. Benedicts went there and located the plot and cleared it. He said once the weather breaks he'll attempt a nice clean up job. Your precious Sue, again Thank You...

RE: Sarah Rowe
it looked like Sarah (the mom) is on the top/upper section of the stone covered with debris and her children are on the lower section side by side...I may be mistaken. thanks for letting me know :)
