Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'am not related to most of the people in the memorials that I have created, but someone is, and the memorials might (and has) help them find that long-lost loved one.
I have!!!!
Anyone may use my tombstone pictures for their own personal use, no credit wanted.

I do not add memorials to Findagrave, to see how many I can get, I do it so people can be found and remembered. Everyone deserves that!!

I DO MY BEST TO MAKE SURE THE INFORMATION I ADD IS CORRECT, BUT IF I HAVE MADE A MISTAKE, (AND EVERYONE DOES), I WILL BE GLAD TO CORRECT IT, BUT PLEASE ASK POLITELY,
and please use the edit button, that is just above the pictures on each memorial, for leaving information, such as adding links, bios, corrections, and requesting transfers, and include your Findagrave member number. Makes it so much easier to make those edits and transfers.
Thank You!!

RE: crooked creek
Congrats on the finish of Crooked Creek!! I think all the old cemeteries have stone impossible to read, some were readable thirty years ago here in Knox, but today not even the digital camera brings the words to life. So grateful to the two gentlemen, now deceased, that poured over every cemetery reading stones they could--even then some were bad and documenting what they saw. They would make some kind of note as best they could about the unreadable ones--wish they were here to give them a big hug and an even bigger thank you for all they did to keep the information available. THANK YOU for your work at CC, good luck on your next pursuit!!

God bless!
Pam

RE: Bessie Dailey Butts
Hi Patty, what I usually do is to put the correct information in parentheses so that the original information is still there. In this case, (s/b W. F. Dailey) would be good. Bessie was my 3rd cousin 1x removed. The Daileys go back to the Alexanders, who go back to my 3rd great grandfather, John. D. Stephens. Two of his daughters married Alexanders. Let me know if you want more Dailey obits. Dennis

You have kindly added two great headstone photos to this memorial. However I just discovered that I have created a duplicate memorial to # 13693735. I would you please add those two photos to the original so that I can delete my duplicate?

RE: Margaret Johnson
Patty,

The merge was done using the original Memorial and she sent it to me since you had already transferred Margaret before I guess. I really didn't expect that, but then my "Find A Grave Lady" is VERY good to make requests happen according to the rules so I figured you might get her back, but, as I said, since you had transferred her to me once she must have felt that was the way to make it work correctly and still having kept the original Memorial in place. Anyway, it's done!!! Thought you would like to know!!

THANK YOU!!!

Willie Bates
Thank you for adding the grave marker photo to Willie's Memorial--so glad to make the correction that she is a she not a he!! I also noticed that she was born in 1863 not 1862. Seeing that Daddy died in 1862, I questioned that. I looked at when Daddy died and since it was August 7th 1862 I would say Mommy didn't know yet that she was pregnant--Willie was born April 7th (ironic don't you think?) 1863. I also am figuring Willie was for Daddy's name William--I think Mommy was a very thoughtful wife and mother that loved both individuals very much!! I want to thank YOU for all you do to tear down those "brick walls" and open the doors to a world of family history!!!

Best regards,
Pam Witherow

RE: Wm Henry and Phoebe Dunn at Red Top Cemetery
So happy to have helped you find William and Phoebe. Yes, feel free to use the photos of their stones and thanks for asking.

If you look at the cemetery page for Red Top, you will see two photos that I added there. They indicated that some of the stones were moved there at two different times in the past (I assume they were moved from a small "farm plot", but I have no real knowledge of that.) There is nothing in the cemetery that delineates a section to show which stones were actually moved, though. It's possible that these were not actually there when you visited the cemetery. I don't recall which stones were near those two notices.
