I have been a part time genealogist for over 8 years and enjoy perserving not only my family's history, but others that are connecting their family lineage.|
My maternal family roots are largely from the areas of Grayson, Bristol, Saltville and Roanoke, VA. I am mostly interested in the Mays and Brinkley lines.
I also have an interest in the Ricks and Morey lines from Moultrie, GA and surrounding areas.
My paternal roots are centered in SW Virginia. My maiden name is Hodge, a line that is mostly from Giles, Montgomery and Pulaski Co., VA. Also of interest to me is the Stanger, Shepperd, Branscom, Mallory, Poff and Linkous families.
Please feel free to contact me if you are researching these lines and have additional information or if I can be of assistance to your research.
I will gladly make corrections to memorials or transfer memorials that I have created to family members if contacted.

I added a photo of Clovis from the cover of his book on GE. I worked with him there in the 1980's. He was a very intelligent man

Hi, Thank you so much for replying and providing some possible leads to find out where this soldier is buried. I will definitely be checking them all out. Take care. Andi
Hello, I have a question. Is there a contact address or phone number for the Boones Mill Cemetery? I'm trying to locate the burial location of a soldier who died in WWII, Sept 20, 1944 to be exact. If you have any information about how to find out from that cemetery I would appreciate it. Also, is there a Clemons Cemetery near the Boones Mill Cemetery? The soldier's last name is Clemons so maybe he is buried in the Clemons Cemetery. Any information you could provide on that cemetery would be appreciated as well. Thank you for your time. Andi in WA State.
