Bio

I'm a retired attorney, judge, social worker, and spiritual counselor who moved to Idaho to be near grandkids. I got hooked on genealogy after my father died in 1984, with no real knowledge beyond my grandparents. Since then, I've gone back about 14 generations in some lines. Many of my Bonners were originally BONARs and came from Ohio, Brooke, and Marshall counties in the panhandle of Virginia (now West Virginia). Although I have visited the area, I did not have sufficient time to track down most of the current kinfolk, nor the graves of the ones deceased. Recently (about 2009) I found through Y-DNA matches that I probably should have the surname of Landon, so I have been tracking them down in Nebraska and back to Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
