May I add a death certificate to a person's memorial page?
Death certificates may be added via the "Add a photo" button on the memorial page. Please select the option for "Other" in the "Type of photo:" to be added, as it is not a Grave, Person or Family photograph. NOTE: Death certificates do not necessarily contain completely accurate information about the deceased. There are often errors regarding the final burial location

I would like to transfer Daniel to your care :)
How do I do this?

Well Marsha...maybe Daniel Riegel 1778-1862 was
not a vet either. I sure am confused here.

The veterans burial card is for a Daniel Riegel
who served 18 Sep 1861 to 17 Jul 1865 and is
buried in St Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Orwigsburg, PA.

I will have to try and figure this out.

Oops...I am sorry Marsha...I fixed it.

I must have had my Daniels mixed up...there are
soooo many! (Your Grandpa was my 5th grand uncle)
I had attached the burial card to his profile
when it was his SON Daniel Riegel 1778-1862
who was, in fact, the Civil War veteran.

One of my brother's sons is named Daniel Riegel :)

- Marsha Fenstermacher-Binkley

PLEASE, don't leave notes on my family memorials. I don't need to be thanked (permanently) on my family memorials just so that YOU can see your name there! thank you

Hi Marsha, I saw a post on the find a grave volunteers fb page and I was curious, so I looked at your Find A Grave page. I wish there was someone like you to add photos to my family!! All of mine that I grew up with are gone, so all I have is a box full of photos of people who I cannot identify. I would LOVE for a 4th or 5th cousin to add to mine!! I cannot believe the abuse you are receiving for adding photos to a public site. I thought that was the reason for it to begin with!! Thank you for all you have done to help others in their search! Most of us are truly grateful. Take care, Connie :)

RE: Thank you
Marsha, I am sure we are related somewhere along the line. My Grandmother was Charlotte Virginia Runion Dove. Her parents were Edward Lee Runion & Hazel Belle Reese. My tree on Ancestry that I am working on is called Our Roots. It is my 2nd tree as I was not doing a good job of sourcing on the first. Thank you for all the work you are doing on the family lines.

Hi, You left me a public note today about Stanley Needham's great grand mother being related to you. He is NOT related to you. He is a NEEDHAM, and NOT a Marsh. Being that he is a male, his surname has NOT changed. I hope that you have NOT left any notes on his memorial regarding how you are related. I do NOT appreciate your notes on my family memorials about how you are related 5X removed. It is inappropriate. You are the only person on Find A Grave that has added inappropriate comments/notes & in some cases some random internet photos to family memorials that I have created. I would appreciate it if you would DELETE the random photo that you added to Richard L. Ferree's memorial. It is NOT a photo of Richard. I will give you the opportunity to delete it before I contact Find A Grave and have them delete it. thanks
