Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have always loved my family history, wondering what it was like for my mother's side to emigrate from Luxembourg, and for my father who lived in Germany with his grandparents the first 2 years of his life before coming to America.
I started collecting tidbits of information from my grandmother's when I was in high school in the late 60's/early 70's, and then started really doing research, mostly online in the late 90's.
My family surnames are: Schoborg, Prom, Klaesges, Bromenschenkel, Hoffmann, Ratermann and anyone who married in those families.

Catherine Bierl
I added Benyon as a son of Catherine. I wonder about an infant Bierl in the Templeton cemetery listed as died in 1896. Perhaps that is Anna. Geo

No, that's okay. Gordon was my grandfather. I was wondering what the connection might be. Thanks, Elizabeth

Hegerle corrections
Hi.
I have made the corrections you noted. I was unaware that Ancestry had posted a new CA death index back to 1905. A lot of my information came from a family history put together by my father Cy Auran and his cousin Del Dullum. I have 3 generations of grand parents starting with Joseph Hegerle buried in the St. Boni Cemetery. I have asked the photo contributor to remove the photo from Victoria Hegerle's memorial. In the case of Dora Defond I do not know weather the head stone or the death index has the correct year of death.
