I am what I guess you would call a rural explorer. I have gotten into geneology and local history pretty heavily in the last couple years. |
If anyone needs photos or information in the southwest and south central parts of Indiana, I will be glad to see what I can do.
I travel the following counties often;
Perry, Crawford, Harrison.

Sorry, just documenting the large cemetery. I don't have any specific information.

Thank you so much for taking the photo of William
's headstone. Would it be possible for you to get closeups of the graves on each side of him?
I can read most of the information on Stephen's but cannot decipher the info on the grave to the right.
I am trying to locate Texanna Medora (Dora)Harper Thorpe's gravesite to no avail. She was married to Henry Allen Thorpe and her father was William Harper.
Thank you so much for the wonderful picture of the headstone. May I have your permission to use this picture in my Ancestry Tree?

Thank you so much!! There is so much information missing on our thorpe side....every little bit helps!
We are still looking for her maiden name. We know she married a crockett before she married H A.
I take photos also for findagrave...so much pleasure in finding one's ancestors!!
Brent, are you still active on Find A Grave?? I have sent a few corrections that have not been done. Is there a problem? Blessings ~ Christina
Thanks for the transfers! Happy Independeance Day! ~ Christina
Thank you formaking the corrections ~ Christina
I will go thru your memorials and see who you have in the wrong side of the cemeteries. This is a common mistake here in Perry County. The Wegenast Cemetery is the one on Hwy 66, the Lamb Cemetery is behind it on the gravel road. There is a creek dividing the two. I will let you know what I find. Thank you for your corrections so far. ~ Christina
PS-your pictures are great-Keep up your GREAT work!!
Yes, I would very much like for you to transfer, David, George and Daisy to me. Thank You ~ Christina

Sir, the Lamb cemetery is on the Addison Dam Road off Hwy 66 at Rome, The Wegenast Cemetery is the one on Hwy 66. There is a creek dividing the two cemeteries. You have this listed as one Cemetery, when it is two. A very common mistake. you have several of my family members listed in the lamb cemetery. Thank you for any corrections you can make. ~ Christina
