|I am descendant from pioneers who came to California:1854 three families, 1856 one , and 1862 one family. They all settled in Mariposa County. The pioneers who came were the Helm family; Turner family; Lewis family; Probasco family; and Orme family.|
I have written one book on the family tree of the Helm Turner family.
Genealogy has been my passion since my mother in law got me started on it in 2000.

|Scott Bethel||Your Book on Pioneer Families|
Hi Carol - I am Scott Bethel, g-g-g-grandson of Sarah Savannah DeRossett Turner. I wanted to thank you for all the contributions in the Turner and DeRossett families. Recently I was told by a distant cousin that you had written a book called "Nicholas Turner and Descentdants: Pioneers of Plainsburg" -- I cannot find this book anywhere, but would love to obtain a copy and be able to connect some faces and history with my tree. I also have some unidentifiable family photos in my possession that might match up with those in your book. Please let me know how I might find a copy of your book. Thank you!

Absolutely, I would love to have a photo of her on her page. I am a Lossing descendant (a fourth cousin to her husband) and have been researching the family for some time. Red

Your Find A Grave memorial for Eva shows a DOB as 1864, yet her tombstone says 1865. Do you have information reflecting that her tombstone is incorrect?
Thanks for any clarification.
