|Christine Stockman||Looking for Caleb Leonard|
I am wondering if there is a photo of the gravestone of Caleb and Jemima Leonard. They were buried in Beallsville Cemetery in Washington County, PA. I tried to request one onsite, but it told me that one had already been published. I do not see one.
Thank you for any help you can give me. Caleb is my 5th great grandfather.
My husband is a McCasland, and his grandfather was Guss McCurtis McCasland. From what I have gathered, Guss's given name was Augustus McCurtis McCasland. There is a Andrew McCasland buried in Bee Cemetery along with Guss, and I believe him to be Guss's father. The father and son both died in 1918, and my husband's father was just 6 weeks old. Guss died from some sort of fever. I believe Andrew's wife was Maggie Stallings.

Thx for the quick reply! I saw your tree on ancestry. JT Hill "fathered" my gma, Ada, while in the army and stationed at Ft. Douglas UT (SLC)by ELizabeth Eares. I don't believe they were ever married. Ada's DOB is Nov 1880. He married Mollie Houser in 1883 in Abilene TX. He died 8 Aug 1886 in Ballinger, Runnels, TX. (The Officer Down Memorial has the death location wrong.) So, we are not related by blood - Belle never had children and Terry died as an infant - just by "steps".
The 1905 NYS census you have attached to him is incorrect because he died in 1886. I haven't narrowed down his birthplace other than KY so I can't confirm Bullitt Co. His father was from Bath Co KY; his mother was from nextdoor Montgomery Co KY. Hope this helps! Lisa

Hi Mr. Parr, Belle's father, Marshal Tom Hill, fathered my grandmother, Ada, in 1880. Would love to share family info from you when you have time! Lisa Hildreth Rhodes

Hello. I haven't checked my messages in ages. I see your message referring to my skipping a generation in the Samuel J. Williams line. What are you looking at? My ancestry.com tree is private and it has correct info. I will be happy to check & correct whatever you are referring to.
I am really interested in Eli Dickson Pearce and his wife and the direct line from there.

What is the name of your tree on Ancestry? I am only a member through tonight but will probably join again.

I am also just beginning to research John Pearce. He is my 6th Great Grandpa too. My Great Grandma was a Pearce. I have information that he was a twin as well with James Pierce and they were born 8 August 1717. John Died in NJ and James in PA.
Do you have any other information on this line? I am trying to verify but there were so many John Pearce/Pierces that it is difficult to verify anything. I am new to all of this.
I do know for fact that Eli Dickson Pearce is my great great grandpa and his dad was John Pearce who married Nancy Elizabeth or Elizabeth Nancy Black. The confusion is from there out. Everyone had a son named John.
