Hi My name is Lloyd E. Smith My wife Charlene and I live in Livingston County, Illinois.I retired last May so I spent one day a week taking pictures of grave stones and now that winter is here I make the Memorial pages with gravestone pictures.|
I have a sickness that is called Genealogy I don,t think there is a cure for it. It does help me to handle it if I walk and take pictures in cemeteries and help other people with thier research
My Angel Charlene went to Heaven to be one of God's Angels on March 25 2009 My Angel's ashs are still with me but our grave marker is in the Griffith Cemetery in Fayette County, Illinois I miss her so much Love Always until we meet again your Loving Devil

Someone is taking photos you took and placing them on brand new memorials by moving the memorials out of Graceland and into the Apostolic Christian Cemetery instead. Check out Find A Grave Memorial# 172628697. This person took your photo from Find A Grave Memorial# 73786624 and used it in a new memorial for him.
Wouldn't you know if the photo you took belonged in Graceland and not AC cemetery in Fairbury? I believe what she is doing is against the rules. They are your photos and just wanted you to know. Pam

Thank you so much for the specific photo of Esther's marker---and for all the thousands of photos you have added to Find A Grave. I agree with you-- Genealogy does get into your blood, and what you do to share your love of genealogy by taking photos of grave markers for others is wonderful. With appreciation and deep respect for helping others connect with their families.

|Sarah Ryan Thompson||Thank you!|
Thank you so much for photographing Zathan & Sarah Bailey's gravestones in Braceville Cemetery. I live in the Northeast. Last year I was in the area & went to the Braceville cemetery but was unsuccessful finding their graves. On behalf of my family, our sincerest gratitude for assisting us in our ancestry search.
Sarah Ryan Thompson
Thank you very much Lloyd for your help
|SHaley||Stephen Kerr Photo Request|
Hi, You have a photo request from 2013 for Stephen Kerr's headstone at Kirkpatrick Cemetery. Did you know that no stone for him was recorded as far back as 1979 when the Midlam's walked the cemetery and recorded it for their book "Tombstone Inscriptions of Marion County"? There is a chance that his grave was not marked, or that the stone may be there, but buried under the soil. Unfortunately, there are no maps that I am aware of at township building for the cemetery. I may be wrong, and it may be worth a call to one of the township trustees.

You have two identical pictures on this memorial. Could you possibly delete one of them? Thanks! Pam
