Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am currently working on Evergreen Cemetery in Chester, Illinois. It had 730 memorials when I started and I estimate that it will have over 5000 when I am finished. I may be done by 2014.

Please don't add info in the flowers section. Use the edit tab and include the information there. An email will be sent to me with the info. I can add the info then. thx

RE: William Swanwick
It was my pleasure to get the photos. Hopefully at some point in the future we can get out there with a little gardening equipment and clean it up a bit if landowners don't mine! st

RE: Mahala Dare
I found the stone for Mahala Dare next to James Dare. The cemetery was recently mowed & with all the rain, the grass covered it. I did not like my photo so will go back, clean the stone off & get a better one. There were a few more Dare's nearby, if their photos are not posted I will post them also.

RE: Photos of Garrison Hill Cemetery
David, thanks again for the additional information. I don't know if Adeline would be buried next to John Curry, after he died in 1862 she married John Kavanaugh in 1869 and he died in 1876. Adeline Kavanaugh is listed in the 1880 census for Kaskaskia, I don't know if she remarried after that. Her daughters by John Curry and John Kavanaugh moved to St. Louis and her son Denis Kavanaugh moved to Birmingham, Alabama, my guess is that Adeline would have gone with one of her children.

RE: John Curry gravestone
Thank you David for your reply. I have not been to that cemetery, I would like to someday, my gr- gr-grandmother, Minerva Dickenson Humphrey Guthrie Greer is buried there. My gr-grandfather, William M. Guthrie was born in Kaskaskia in 1844. Randolph Co. has historical ties to my family.
Thanks again,
Martin

Sarah Catlett graveston
Hi, I have another request. I noticed that you posted a picture of Sarah Catlett's gravestone. Sarah is another Guthrie great aunt, she married Henry Catlett in Kentucky in 1840. would you mind if I downloaded a copy of that photo?
Thank You.

John Curry gravestone
Hi, I appreciate all that you have done by adding all this great information onto Findagrave. I recently came across you memorial for John Curry, d. 1862, and buried in the Garrison Hill Cem. I am a Guthrie family researcher and John Curry married Adeline Guthrie, who is a great aunt. would you mind if I downloaded a copy of his gravestone and added it to my Guthrie family photo album. I am in the process of creating a genealogy on my branch of the Guthrie family for family members. I have no other information on the death of Adeline and this is probably the closest I will get to seeing any photos that would have any connection to her.
Thank you
