Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been a genealogy researcher for over 10 years. I was born in PA and grew up in Norton, Summit Co., OH and now live in Akron, OH. My father was a former pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church (Loyal Oak), Norton, OH and was originally from Crawford Co., PA.

My main areas for research are Crawford Co. and Lehigh Co., Pennsylvania.

The main surname that I research is Mosier/Moser/Musser.

Any photos that I have on my memorials may be copied for personal use. They are not for commercial use.

Mary Ann Camp LeFever

Mary Ann is my 3rd Great Grandmother!

I think you have an incorrect marriage date for her and Samuel LeFever. I don't know where you got it from. The book The Pennsylvania LeFevre's gives the marriage date as May, 1823. My 2nd great grandfather, Jacob Camp Lefever was born 15 August 1826, and their other four children were born over the years 1824-1835. This would rule out 1841 as a marriage date.

I came across a photo in Hanford CA Of Mary Acker (Mrs. Aaron Clouser) the daughter of Elizabeth Moser. I saw that you had information on here so I thought you might be directly related to this family. Whenever I come across photos with names on them I try to buy them and connect them with their families. I purchased some other photos as well from the same place that also might be related. I look forward to hearing back from you.

George Washington Miller ( 1833-1905) and Mary Catherine Custard ( 1829-1872)
Hi, I'm wondering if your related to George Washington Miller (27 Oct 1833-7 Sep 1905)and his wife Mary Catherine Custard (28 Apr 1829-24 Dec 1872) of Mead Twp., Crawford, Pennsylvania, USA. Mary is my 2nd Great Grandaunt.

Thanks for the additional information. Joseph Schlosser is my relative in that story. There are a lot of Moser Millers in the Lehigh and Berks Co. PA. area. Do you have any additional information about Steinbruch? Birth Marriages...documents? Asperum Collem use to be where the military would do their drills and conduct parades back in the good ole days. I was able to get some information from Grace Henninger about the place. She's in her 90's. Thanks again, Joseph

Snyder Family
Hello David,
Thanks for your help on the Snyders. I am actually coming into their family through the Hinkles. Two of Andrew Hinkle's daughters married Snyder brothers; Solomon and Stephen. I just began to work on the Hinkle line, so I haven't gotten too far, yet. Andrew's gg grandson is my step-dad. When I run across the Snyders, I'll keep you in mind.

RE: James Harvey Mosier
Hi David,

My mother's materal grandmother was Mary Gable, daughter of Thomas Gable. I have much of the family tree but have been searching out individuals on Find A Grave.

Also, I have been going through lots of notes and clippings that my mother had saved. I found the article on James H Mosier (1930). I didn't know of a family connection so I found that his daughter Margaret Mosier married Clarence Prall, a cousin. I can send the article to your email if you like (it's a sad story). Let me know.

I will checkout your rootsweb link.
