Bio

I started working on genealogy when my mother, maternal grandfather and grandmother in-law died the same year. It dawned on me that I didn't know any thing about my family and now I had no one to ask. I am so fortunate that the volunteers at Find-a-grave are so willing to share the information in their areas and some day hope to be one of them.

I was born and raised in Washington where I raised my two children and my 4 grandchildren were reared. With this hobby I have traveled 50 states. I find my dead relatives to be so much more interesting than my live ones. I don't take responsibility for anything my ancestors did in their time but have gotten a great many laughs from their escapades.

May they rest in peace.

(This is my grandson, Zach. Died November 19, 2016. He had the greatest soul, most loving heart and the most beautiful smile. Forever in my heart.)
