John Clevenger Knee III (also Jr) was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. 11/21/1933 and is a Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps achieving the rank of Sergeant and was on the Peninsula. He later married Carole Adele Karcher in Pittsburgh and graduated from Robert Morris on the G.I. Bill and eventually became a CPA licensed in Washington, DC. He has been married for over fifty years to Carole and they have five children and three grandchildren as of December, 2008 and spent most of their life in Florida where Jack was with the IRS. Jack has extensive genealogy on the Knee family and their book has been donated to many historical libraries in Pa., Md., Ohio, Ind. and many other states for reference.
