Hi, my name is Cathie Crawford and I live in beautiful Bend Oregon. I got started researching my family roots as a winter project, (since I just retired), when the snows fly, and I got sucked in. I did not have a lot to start with, just my mom's immediate family and nothing on my dad's side as my parents were divorced very shortly after I was born. I have found that my entire family was from Ireland, Rhode Island and the south on my fathers side.

From that very short list of names I have uncovered a lot of information. The family calls me "master detective". I have been able to uncover family secrets on both sides of my family that were never known.

The best part is finding family I never knew I had and getting to know them. It has truly been a labor of love and I have only just started.

Family names I am interested in are Kelley (Kelly), Kennedy, Christie, Adams, Gorman, Landry, Mozingo, Strickland, Bailey, and the list goes on.
