Bio and Links
Bio Photo I discovered Find A Grave while researching my family history...and now I'm hooked! There is such a sense of peace and tranquility, especially in the older cemeteries. The history behind the stones is fascinating to me, and I'm happy to be part of preserving that history.

When photographing a cemetery, I only touch the stone when absolutely necessary, and even then - soft brush and water ONLY! If you use chalk, flour, cornstarch, etc. to "bring out" the writing on the stone, PLEASE STOP! You will damage the stone, whether you realize it now or not. Visit the discussion forums on this site for safe alternative methods.

I started off with memorials for my own family, but have recently begun adding memorials from cemeteries I've walked. If you notice any errors, or have information to add to a memorial, please use the "Edit/Suggest a Correction" feature to contact me. If I've entered a memorial for one of your loved ones, friends, etc., please let me know and I will gladly transfer it to you.

Morgan's Raid
Thank you for honoring our heroes by adding your photo! I will keep looking from time to time to see if someone has created memorials for the other brave men. I do not know where they are buried, or I would make sure they had memorials.

God Bless You!

Photo (Morgan's Raid)
Several years ago you kindly posted a picture on Isaac Samuel Lang's memorial. It was a photo of the stone that had the names of the men who lost their lives as a result of The Battle of Corydon, Morgan's Raid. I was wondering if you would be able to post the same photo for the others whose names are listed on the stone who have findagrave memorials (some of the men do not have findagrave memorials). Here are the names and memorial numbers of those that do-

Jacob Ferree #78463457

Harrison Steepleton #37085367

Nathan Mckinzie #96018934

Rev. Peter Glenn 13818994

Thank you for considering this.
God Bless You!

Catherine Riley's husband Absolum P Meredith
Hello, I was wondering if you have any photo of Catherine Riley's husband Absolum P Meredith. Absolum's son (from his second wife) was Elmer Martin Meredith, my Great Grandfather. I will set up Absolum's page if I can figure out where his cemetery is. I was happy to find your site. I don't have and no one in my family knew Absolum's first wife's name even! I saw a picture on the web with an older couple with the name Catherine A Meredith and didn't know if that was them.

Thanks, Julie

John W. Palmer
Thanks for linking the Palmers. My relationship with the Palmers is biological. I am the eldest son of David Ike Palmer (1949-1999)posted by Linda Y. David was involved in a high school relationship that resulted in me in 1968. My genetic profile is with 23 and me. I actually have a short 8mm film of David when he to my biological mother to the prom. Thanks again.

Erin Keen

I just realized that your husband and I are cousins. Bennett Geneva Duffer Keen is also my great grandmother. My grandmother was Ethel Florence Keen Lee. Christine Keen Bunch is my great aunt. I have been trying to get all the Keen family straight on my account for Christine. I would really appreciate any information you can give me about the Keen family. I am the administrator for Christine's estate and need information about all living relatives of hers. I would love to upload to any photos you may have of the Keen family.

I have included my email address below so that you can leave a private message.

Ethel Florence Lee is my grandmother on my father's side. If you could transfer the memorial to me I would greatly appreciate it.
