Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in genealogy back in 1997 when i wanted to find information about my biological father and my ancestors on his side. After finding some info on him i was hooked and haven't lost interest...seems the more i find the more i want to know, plus i enjoy helping others with their research.

Sharon,
May I ask why you remove Eddy Popa (Edward Joseph Popa) from his parents? It was the right connection.

My mistake Sharon...I meant Arthur A. not M. But I understand, this was a really confusing lot. That said...

Sarah M Putney's husband is Find A Grave Memorial# 11185099.

Find A Grave Memorial# 11185099
hello Sharon -

There are some issues with the Putney family. Arthur M Putney ( Find A Grave Memorial# 64018108) is not the son of Amos, however, your memorial is a duplicate of Find A Grave Memorial# 11185219, that was posted 6 years before yours. He is the son of Ira, Find A Grave Memorial# 64018108. Arthur's parents are
Find A Grave Memorial# 63985091
Find A Grave Memorial# 11185099

Additionally, Amos W Putney Find A Grave Memorial# 63935017
is the father of Ira Putney Find A Grave #11185099.

Lydia Putney Sumner's Find A Grave Memorial# 66574551 parents are
Find A Grave Memorial# 63985091
Find A Grave Memorial# 11185099

Ferdinand Wentzloff
Sharon, Ferdinand's stone gives his birth date as 1843. In you enlarge his grave stone you can read the birth date. Do you have other sources for the birth date of Oct 1831? Janet

James Albert Welch
I forgot to mention that as you have cited census 1870 listed siblings Bertha and Emma, but I think that was Bert and Emery, after that time the only reference I find is of two brothers Bert and Emery that would be the ages as cited in that census. Seems strange that they would have gotten two siblings cited as female names when they should have been males.

RE: James Albert Welch
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond but I have not been as active in my genealogy research as of late. I think I am seeing the second memorial you are talking about that has the picture of James Welch? Looks like it is in Rose Hill too? If that is the one that you are talking about I am familiar with that person's research. He is related to James Albert second wife, Rose. If there is another let me know. I also think it is strange that Freelove is cited as last name of Stowe on her death cert. My mother has found a reference to James Albert Welch working on an estate on one of the islands in northern Lake Michigan, and saying that he had fathered 26 children. I think I can account for approx. 18 with Freelove and 4 with his second wife.
