Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in genealogy back in 1997 when i wanted to find information about my biological father and my ancestors on his side. After finding some info on him i was hooked and haven't lost interest...seems the more i find the more i want to know, plus i enjoy helping others with their research.

RE: Thanks
Here's a link to my eBay store. Unfortunately all the photos from that group were sold, but I've sent copies of everything to your email.

RE: Herbert Smith memorial #44861675
As you've found by reading my bio, I'm not related, I just find old photos and sell them in my eBay store. The Smith photos came from a group that also had Putney, Converse and Adams surnames. I left this message for people who manage their memorials in Oceana County.
"I've posted a photo of Hannah Putney Woodward(#119727449) at her memorial...also for Amy(#119727449)and Ernest (#11172379) Putney, and Bessie Putney (#11185203)

Norman Dagen had previously posted a photo
for Ira(#11185099) and Lydia(#66574551)Putney"
I'll send you a copy of the email I sent them requesting help with other photos. Maybe you're all related :)

RE: Edits
Hi Sharon,

It's not as easy as adding the info yourself, but it's close. And if the person who manages the memorial doesn't respond within a certain time (I think it's 30 days), the edit gets applied automatically. When you're at a memorial you want to submit an edit for, click on the Edit tab at top right, select the field you want to update, enter your data and submit. Also, there is a Facebook page where findagrave users help each other figure out this kind of stuff :) Here's a link to that page

Herbert Smith memorial #44861675

Just wanted to let you know I've posted photos at some of the Smith memorials - Herbert, Mary, Mark, Grace - if you'd like to take a look. Feel free to copy them.

Putney burials in Oceana Co

You have a number of burials in Oceana County, that are duplicates of mine that were entered several years earlier. Findagrave rules dictate that whoever creates the memorial has primacy in duplication matters, thus yours should be eliminated. I know you spent a lot of time creating these, so I am willing to transfer administration of mine to you if you will move the information from yours to mine. That way, we both have what we wanted. I still have credit for creating the memorial, but as administrator you have control over what is put into the memorial. Is that acceptible to you? Once I transfer my memorials to you, you will have to transfer the data from yours to mine (now yours to administer), and then delete your duplicate. Thanks,

Morgan Benson

RE: Ferry Township Cemetery
Hi Sharon,

Not a problem. That side of my family seems to be a hard find. I do not have Ancestry, they are too greedy. And the last time I did have access, the only information that I found on my search, was the info they "stole" from my Family Tree submission to another site. I use LDS, Find A Grave and Rootsweb.
If I can't find it there, I'm just out of luck.

Thank you so much for you effort. It is appreciated.

Hi Sharon,

Thank you for that information, however, none of the names listed are familiar to me.

Thanks. Susan
