Bio and Links
Bio Photo The fourth daughter of Laurie "Cotton" Thackston & Betty Miranda [Robinson] Davis. I was born and raised in Orangeburg, Orangeburg County, SC along with my three sisters. Maternal Grandparents were Shellie "Sheck" Johnson & Grace Edith [Golson] Robinson, Sr. of Murph Mill Road, St. Matthews, Calhoun County, SC. Paternal Grandparents were Luther Edgar & Margaret "Maggie" Elnora [Rowell] Davis of Norway, Orangeburg County, SC.

Married to Craig Hannah, mother of Miranda Hannah, stepmother of Alisha, Daniel (Bubba), Mark and David Hannah. Bubba, Mark and David were U. S. Marines and all proudly served this great nation of ours. On January 24, 2014, Alisha made me a grandmother with the arrival of Gabriel (G. J.) Perez, Jr. What a joyous occasion!

Praise the Lord for all his many blessings and may you and your family have a wonderful 2015! Be safe in all your travels.

I noticed that you said he was chosen to be the foreman of a grand jury in 1788. I cannot find that date, but did see where he was doing that in 1778. Is that a typo or do you have information proving that date of 1788? I am praying it is 1788 as that is the time frame needed to join the historical society of the Daughters of the War of 1812. He did so many things, but I cannot find one between 1784-1815 which is what I need. That Salley book only goes up to about 1778 and I am afraid that is where you got your info since you mentioned it. Hoping you have info from elsewhere.

Any help you can give me will be appreciated. Ginger Seale 318-773-7232
