We often hear "Let go, let God"...and we should let go of our pain, grief, negative emotions and things we can't change...we should let God have those things so we can be free and find peace in Him...but some things we are not meant to "get over" like the death of a loved one or a tragedy...we "get through" them with God's help... We don't forget, but we can move forward past the pain... We are changed, but not damaged beyond repair... God fills the broken places in our hearts and lives with more of Himself, if we allow Him, so we can learn to carry on.
