Bio Photo Please if you have correction or you want a transfer YOU HAVE TO USE THESE STEPS - Go to the memorial - TOP RIGHT - EDIT - ADD A SUGGESTION - add information you want added or link to spouse and parents - you have to list the memorial numbers to link.

- I have over 30,000 memorial - I get 10 to 20 emails everyday for corrections and links - I dont have time to look memorial by NAME ONLY.

I can delete memorial if it is a problem.

Lives are commemorated - deaths are recorded - families are reunited - memories are made tangible - and live is undisguised. This is a cemetery.

Communities accord respect, families bestow reverence, historians seek information and our heritage is thereby enriched.

Testimonies of devotions, pride and remembrance are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life - not death - of a loved one. The cemetery is homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.

A cemetery is a history of people - a personal record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today. A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering - ALWAYS.

Rev James P. Vickery
Please help me. I found Rev. James P. Vickery in two memorials at what I believe is the same cemetery.
Memorial numbers 447091727 and 83827282
Marker picture is the same.
Are there two different cemeteries or are they same?
83827282 has him linked to wife Susan Shiflet 47091728

Sending message to both people who have memorials

Gerry Hill
For the grave picture of Jefferson Bice Taunton.
I looked for it for over an hour-in every way I could think of- and finally googled it and someone mentined that the grave on findagrave was spelled Tanton. (You did not put the grave on, only the picture)
I have ask to change it to what the stone says.
May I use the grave picture in my research? Thanks. Ms Gerry Hill- A contributor.

Memorial of Marion Ashley McCranie, Old Homer Cem., Claiborne Parish, Louisiana
Dear J. Lowery,

Thank you for the memorial page you've created for Marion Ashley McCranie, who is buried in Old Homer Cemetery in Homer, Louisiana.

I have a correction for the page, and hope you won't mind my sending it. The page identified Marion as a spouse of John Allen McCranie, who shares a tombstone with him.

John and Marion were brothers, however. Marion's obituary is in the 19th volume of the Alpha Tau Omega "Palm" (Chicago: ATO, 1899), pp. 175-178. Marion was a student at University of Virginia at the time of his death, and a member of their ATO chapter.

Andrew Green Semmes
Hello -- I noticed that you are the person to contact about Andrew G. Semmes (Find A Grave Memorial# 46556340) and Mary Robertson Semmes (Find A Grave Memorial# 46565577).

I wondered if you knew if their youngest son, Joseph Green Semmes, was buried with them. I checked with Historic Linwood Cemetery, and Joseph is not buried there with his brother, Paul J. Semmes.

Another thing that might help you is that Joseph Semmes was a suicide, so I don't know if that would make a difference in where he was buried.

Here is some information I have been able to gather on Joseph Semmes:

If you can help me with this, I would be very grateful. Thank you, Jean Cooper
