THIS IS A CEMETERY
Lives are commemorated - deaths are recorded - families are reunited - memories are made tangible - and live is undisguised. This is a cemetery.
Communities accord respect, families bestow reverence, historians seek information and our heritage is thereby enriched.
Testimonies of devotions, pride and remembrance are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life - not death - of a loved one. The cemetery is homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.
A cemetery is a history of people - a personal record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today. A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering - ALWAYS.

You created a memorial for H. V. Price listed as child of John E. Price & Talitha A. Cotney. I've been doing a lot of research on this family and haven't found any record of this child. Would you be willing to share how you found the connection between this child and his family?

My deep gratitude for changing this lady's name for me.
As I was looking at your welcome change, I chanced to see "Lily Clure", Memorial 11726248, with photo of Lily Moorhead McClure's tombstone. Lo and behold, this is the same lady.
I have a 2005 photo of this tombstone which clearly shows a very small "Mc" chiseled above and between Lily and Clure -- I'll bet whoever made the tombstone had to make that correction.
If these small letters are not visible in the photo with the referenced memorial, I'll be glad to send the 2005 photo to you.
Could you and Julie K. Cooper Hancock, administrator of 11726248 please work together to combine these memorials. I'll send a copy of this to her.
Also, there is a child "Alexander McClure, age 14 years 4 months, Memorial 42225117, buried near Lily McClure. The James Lee McClure Family Bible record has two separate entries for this child:
"Alexander Newton McClure, born September 20--1821" and "Alexander Newton McClure [died] December 7--1822".
So, he was 14 months old, not 14 years, 4 months. Could you please correct this memorial, as well.
Again, thank you so very much for all of your good work.
M E McClure
