Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please if you have correction or you want a transfer YOU HAVE TO USE THESE STEPS - Go to the memorial - TOP RIGHT - EDIT - ADD A SUGGESTION - add information you want added or link to spouse and parents - you have to list the memorial numbers to link.

- I have over 30,000 memorial - I get 10 to 20 emails everyday for corrections and links - I dont have time to look memorial by NAME ONLY.

I can delete memorial if it is a problem.

Lives are commemorated - deaths are recorded - families are reunited - memories are made tangible - and live is undisguised. This is a cemetery.

Communities accord respect, families bestow reverence, historians seek information and our heritage is thereby enriched.

Testimonies of devotions, pride and remembrance are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life - not death - of a loved one. The cemetery is homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.

A cemetery is a history of people - a personal record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today. A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering - ALWAYS.

Cleaning and Repairing
About the Jones-Cook cemetery -- all markers have been cleaned using guidelines from the Association for Gravestone Studies, and broken markers have been repaired and reset with instructions from a monument company.

Change of Location
Just wanted to explain about a request to change some folks from Jones cemetery in Douglas County, GA to Jones-Cook cemetery in Carroll County -- the cemetery is actually inside Carroll by about 20 feet. Only 4 records needed to be changed since the rest already show up in the Carroll County cemetery. BTW, the Douglas County Cemetery Preservation Commission and a sheriff's inmate work crew clean it annually and will be doing so tomorrow morning -- got special permission to work a few feet across the county line.

Transfer Request
I would love to have memorial 59134998 transferred to me so that I can get her husband and other daughter added. This was my GGrand mother and my grandmother is not listed on the memorial.
I would be very greatful.

Thank you!

Sugaw Creek Cemetery
I don't want you to delete the memorial; I simply wanted to note that the name of the cemetery is entered incorrectly, and was instructed to leave a suggestion to that effect. I apparently have not reached the correct person to correct the problem.
Excuse the bother.

Lyon at New Hope

Thank you so much for transferring James P and Elizabeth Lyon to my care. I will be adding bio's and add'l links.

Your time and effort are very much appreciated.
I just logged on to request the rest of the Lyon memorials at New Hope when I saw that you had transferred James and Elizabeth. I am linking all of the Lyon family at New Hope. I have links and bio's for everyone in the stone enclosure. I will make the requests thru the edit tab :)
If you can transfer these to me at your earliest convenience I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you again,
