I started creating memorials on find a grave in 2009 with my maternal grandmother's family and then I discovered my maternal grandfather came from a very large family. I set out to find all the descendants, which I have, and then began creating memorials for all of them and more and more became involved as others shared information.|
I have received messages form families in Italy thanking me as they never knew what became of their families once they immigrated.
This is very rewarding. I strive for accuracy and I welcome any requests for transfers if I have created a memorial for your family member. I also appreciate edits if I am missing or have incorrect information.
When I started I did not know how to link families and I have tried to go back and do that when time permits, however, this is a work in progress. I also add flowers as I have seen so many memorials without any.
I am so grateful for all the volunteers that have helped me find my family members.

Hello Gallo, I am writing in regards to Rita.
The Church is in the process of updating the garden where it's deceased are buried. As you may know, this cemetery is strictly for cremations. Some are "in the ground" as they call which means ashes scatted in a particular area or in urns buried in the ground, or now they are building a wall to put the remains. Their names are being placed on a plaque which has not been placed yet. I can check to see if the grounds have been completed. If so, I would be happy to find your family for you.
Do you know the particulars regarding Rita?

Hi Gallo, I am preparing for my next grave photo session. You had requested a photo for John Cipollone d1975. I find no record of him. However, the Cipollone's are all buried in Block 6 Plot 223.
Grave 1 is Angelo M. Cipollone buried 1957, and Grave 3 is Domenic Cipollone buried 1971. Would you like photos of these in addition to Domenica Grave 5, Francesco Grave 4, Bonifacio F Grave 2, and Anna Grave 6?

Hi Gallo, I will continue working on your requests for Maple Hill Cemetery and also North Hibbing. I live 160 miles from the cemeteries, but will be in the area again next weekend so weather permitting I will take the photos. Re: Rossina Rocchio in North Hibbing Cemetery, this is a very old cemetery and I had to ask the cemetery staff for a map, which I accomplished yesterday. I took photos of the map, and can now try and figure out which area she is buried in. Do you happen to know if she was Protestant or Catholic? The cemetery is divided by religion, and the sections, plots, and grave numbers are duplicated between sections.....

All information on his Memorial for you, Miss Holly.
I ran into a very nice lady at the cemetery when I was cleaning off the tombstone for Domenica and Pasquale Palumbo, these two are her grandparents. Her name is Beth. I told her about this website and she said she would see if she could find a picture of the tombstone. She helped me clean off the tombstone the best we could but with the heavy rains that we had in the St. Louis area. So just to let you know why the dates aren't so readable right now.
Have a great day,
