I started creating memorials on find a grave in 2009 with my maternal grandmother's family and then I discovered my maternal grandfather came from a very large family. I set out to find all the descendants, which I have, and then began creating memorials for all of them and more and more became involved as others shared information.|
I have received messages form families in Italy thanking me as they never knew what became of their families once they immigrated.
This is very rewarding. I strive for accuracy and I welcome any requests for transfers if I have created a memorial for your family member. I also appreciate edits if I am missing or have incorrect information.
When I started I did not know how to link families and I have tried to go back and do that when time permits, however, this is a work in progress. I also add flowers as I have seen so many memorials without any.
I am so grateful for all the volunteers that have helped me find my family members.

|Beth in Colorado||Mr. Antonio Pietro Rocchio|
All information on his Memorial for you, Miss Holly.
I ran into a very nice lady at the cemetery when I was cleaning off the tombstone for Domenica and Pasquale Palumbo, these two are her grandparents. Her name is Beth. I told her about this website and she said she would see if she could find a picture of the tombstone. She helped me clean off the tombstone the best we could but with the heavy rains that we had in the St. Louis area. So just to let you know why the dates aren't so readable right now.
Have a great day,

My pleasure to visit and photograph Mr. Mazzone's headstone. Bakersfield National Veterans Cemetery is breathtaking beautiful.

I made the name change to Miss Josephine as you suggested. I thought as much, but found the Peraylia spelling on Ancestry.com. Family names can be tricky.
Happy New Year right back at you!
|Roibeard53||Frank Palumbo at Holy Sepulchre|
I found your request for Frank Palumbo and your question about any other family members in the area.
I took photos of several headstones. Frank's headstone includes his wife (I assume), Florence (Memorial# 79841423).
To the left of their grave is a large marker for the "A. Porreca" family. The names on the monument are Anthony,(no memorial page), Antonio (Memorial# 95916125) and Alfonsina Porreca (Memorial# 95916124).
To the left of that monument is a stone for Dominick Palumbo (Memorial# 79841420) and Carmela Risimini (Memorial# 90754619). The two small Palumbo stones are on either side of the Porreca monument making it look like they are all one family.The Palumbos, Porrecas and Carmella Risimini are all buried on the lot at Q-373.
There is a Charles Palumbo (Memorial# 79841418) listed as being buried at Q 373, but his name is not on any stone.
Several lots to the left of that site is another large headstone for the family of "A. Palumbo" with the names Angela Palumbo, (no memorial page), "Wife, Jennie" (Memorial# 79841432) and Frank (no memorial page). Their pages list the lot as Q-377.
There is a memorial page at Memorial# 79841415 for "Angelina" Palumbo at this lot, but there is no "Angelina" listed on the monument.
There are also two pages for Dominick and Lucy Risimini buried together in lot R-402. Perhaps they are related also.
If you would like photos of the other Palumbos, the Porreca and Risiminis, would you make the usual requests for me and I can post the photos shortly.
No worries, happy to help. Welcome back

|ColoradoPatriot||RE: Pirraglia headstones|
Do you know if Mary Pirraglia who died in 1908 and Pilip Pirraglia who died in 1908 at the age of two are relatives? If so I have photos of their headstones. Also there was a Catherin Pirraglia who died in 1960 buried next to Philip.

I added the picture of Frank Baccaro's grave in Holy Cross North Arlington. He died in 1960. His father Alphonse Baccaro is also buried there but the name was never added to the stone. He is also listed as Frank Baccaro Sr. 1899-1989. There is no Anna Wright Baccaro buried in this plot and the cemetery has no record of this name in Holy Cross. Strange...
