William H. Thompson
Hi Nancy!
I came across my great grandfathers gravesite (William H. Thompson, buried in Cedar Hills Cemetery, Licking Co, Ohio via your account and I was curious if you know anything about him at all? Finding his parents is the most difficult task ever. We are not sure if he was adopted or not. Seems like there is no trace of him. I know his spouse when he passed and his 2 children. Just thought I'd ask. :) Thanks, Tracey

1850 census of Falls township, Bucks county Pennsylvania. Lists Martin, b. ca. 1785 and Lydia Mull, b. ca. 1785. Son named Ebenezer, b. about 1815. Older woman named Lydia Mull, b. ca 1775. Two young girls: Mary Mull, b. ca. 1840 and Charlotte Mull, b. ca 1844. Figure two young girls to be granddaughters of Martin and Lydia??
Also in household is Hugh McCormick, b. ca. 1835 in Ireland. Hugh is my primary interest. I am fairly certain he is my ancestor who came over from Ireland in late 1830's.
The 1860 census for Falls township, Bucks county, penn. Lists Hough (Hugh) McCormic(k), age 26 living there. Wife is Jane, age 27, b. Ireland. Sons: John, age 4, Hugh, age 2 and Edward, age less than 1 year. Jane McCormick apparently died after 1860, before 1865. Hugh moved to Illinois. He married woman named Mary Ferrell from Indiana. He took his 3 sons, John, Hugh and Edward with him to Illinois. They were living a few miles Southeast of St. Louis in 1870. My Gr-Grandmother, Margarett Jane McCormick was born in Illinois about 1866.
Hugh McCormick moved his family to Texas about 1875. They stayed here. I live in Texas. About 40 miles from where they settled. Odis.

RE: Deisher Family?
Wow...I see your point! I'm gonna have to do some research myself. My Daniel Deisher is William and Clementine Kroh Deisher's son...he was born 1859-1912. So this Daniel must not be the same Daniel I have or maybe his dates are wrong. I'll let you know what I find out! Thanks so much for your information!

RE: Mary Agnes Eberly
Charles was born in Virginia. Where he was originally buried is unknown but he is now buried in St. Joseph Cemetery next to Mary Agnes. He was reinterred in St. Joseph Cemetery on Sept 22, 1934 in the Holy Name Section, Lot 100, Space 5. Mary in next to him in Space 6.

You also have John Gaughran Eberly as their son which is impossible. Both Charles and Mary Agnes (actually his grandparents) were already dead when he was born. His actual parents are Francis J. & Katherine G. Eberly. He was born May 27, 1928 in Ohio and died Sept. 2, 1977 in Columbus. He is buried at St. Joseph in St. Helen Section, Lot 408, Space 5.

I have found 4 other Eberly's buried in St. Joseph which there are no memorials which I will enter. 2 are John Gaughran parents; will submit change of parents to you when I figure out who is who.
