My grateful thanks to Findagrave for providing a place to preserve our cemetery headstone data. Thank you to all the wonderful individuals who contribute not only their time and energy but expense in locating and transcribing cemetery data. Here we can help preserve the memories and images of our family and friends, and we help strangers to us but not to those that find their family and friends among these web pages.
I encourage corrections and/or suggestions for updates. Any edit requests may take up to a month to make but most are completed quicker.
Most memorials I add are works in progress and I am always looking for links and additional information about them. Let's never forget our family and friends. Please leave flower tokens so I can tell that they have been visited.
Please consider setting up a virtual cemetery for your family members. Any memorial can be entered into this virtual cemetery so you can have all your family together. Having someone in your family genealogy is not grounds for a memorial transfer. With thousands of contributors, there are many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.
Currently live in Walker County Georgia. This web site has helped me find many places I have been looking for. Thanks Find-a-Grave.
Researching Bishop's family from Magee / Mendenhall, Simpson County, Mississippi and Jones' family from Ellisville, Mississippi.
My Bishop family line is me, Walter R, T. Melvin, T. Webster, T. Spencer, Josiah, and Ezekiel Bishop. The "T" stands for Tillmon, Tilman, Tillman, etc.
My Jones family line is me, Margaret Ella, James Robert (Jim), and William Calvin Jones.
I am also interested in the Bishop line female spouse surnames of Sellers, Harvey, Sullivan, Warren, and Street.
I am also interested in the Jones line female spouse surnames of Carney and Stephens.
My husband family names include Craig, Howard, and Morris.

|Anonymous||Exer Love Womack|
Dear Myrtis Jane,
Exer Love Womack is my great-great grandmother.
Can you please tell me the source of the birth and death date, and also the source of why you knew that she was buried in White Oak Cemetery in Smith County, MS given no grave headstone or marker?
The reason that I need to verify the 'proof' is because I am filing a DAR supplemental application for two Rev War Patriots that my lines go thru Exer Love Womack & her husband James Harris Floyd.
This information is crucial. I've worked on this line for many years, so I would be ever grateful if you have info.
Many thanks for devoting your time and energy to so many families,
Elizabeth Sawyer Carter - you can email me directly at

|MVA||RE: Anna Marie Faycaeck Mayger|
Anna's father was Andrew Fajcak.
Birth 02/24/1884 • Vechec, Slovakia
Death 03/19/1960 • Aliquippa, Beaver, Pennsylvania, USA.
And Anna's mother was Susan Marmack.
Birth 1888 - Death 1940.
After Susan's death Andrew married Katherine Turesko who was my great grandmother. It was Andrew's 2nd marriage and Katherine's 3rd. I was told they were divorced when he died but that could be wrong. I've not found a divorce certificate.
If you type in Fajcak you'll only find two listed on Find A Grave, Susan and Helen. They are both buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Aliquippa Pa as well as Andrew and Susan's parents.
So I am not related to the Fajcak's but they are in my family tree since my great grandmother married one.
Since the name is pronounced Faychuck but spelled Fajcak I find it misspelled a lot.
I hope this helps. Michael.

I believe Anna's maiden name was spelled Fajcak, pronounced Faychuck, the daughter of Andrew and Susan Marmack Fajcak.

You are most welcome. I added quite a few photos to Corinth Baptist Church tonight. There might be a few more that you might be interested in. As usual for you my findagrave friend, treat them as your own.

We were allowed to do that on ones before 1933. I think they have changed it now, but ours are grandfather in.
