Mary Brooks Gilmore and Carl Allen Gilmore with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I do both the adoptive (Brooks) and birth (Eilar)surnames in my father's line as well as many others connected. I do McNitt, Secor, Lamb, Bundy, French plus so many others
as well as other related surnames on my Paternal and Maternal side.
I have been working on Genealogy since the 1970's, beginning with my maternal Grandmother who started me on the interest, hers was her maiden &; married surnames McNitt &Secor. Have also in more recent years some my husband side of the family Gilmore, Allen, Cole and VanNess, etc. I worked in a Library History Room for 21 years, helping others. Am used to a variety of spellings from old Documents, or soundings of names even spelled differently, for instance Aielor, or other Iler, Eiler, for my Dad's birth surname which his family spelled Eilar. They were all big families in the early days.
