The new edit features make it much easier to maintain memorials with the help of other volunteers. However, I will independently research each request for a change in any memorial. If I am unable to find supporting evidence for the change, I will email the person requesting the change and ask for their sources. In some cases I have the information, but just didn't get around to completing the memorial. However, if no supporting evidence is provided per my request, I will not update the memorial. I would prefer to provide less information than to provide unsupported information.

I have lived in Fresno, California my entire life, and have strong roots in Missouri, Arkansas, and Illinois. As time goes on, I'm sure to add to this list. I am currently researching and tracing my branches of the McBride, Garrett, Mustion, Pumphrey, Dilday, Moore, Hawkins, and McCandless families on my father's side, and the Klein, Meier, Brase, Haar, Hart, Gaddis, Ziemans, and Sulanke families on my mother's side.
For 42 years I have worked in the heating and air conditioning wholesale industry, and am a single, 67 year old man. My purpose for this ongoing project is to satisfy my curiosity about my ancestors, make sure they are remembered, and to have a comprehensive history to pass down to my niece and nephews.

Regarding transfers, most of the memorials that I have created or maintain are of my family. I occasionally add some that are not, but tied somehow to research I am doing. I am happy to transfer any of those memorials to someone in their family, but would prefer to keep my family memorials for future maintenance since much of my research is a work in progress.
I am very happy to trade information with anyone researching the same people as I am.
