I've decided to change my profile to reiterate my feelings on transfers, additions, and corrections to the memorials that I manage:|
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will now transfer only within the stated guidelines. Please do not ask me to make a bulk transfer of names. I will make exceptions if I am personally doing work for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.
I will not cut and paste raw data from census records, death indices, etc. A nicely written bio is preferable.
Please consider using the "virtual cemetery" feature on this site to keep track of relations.
Since March 2013 I have taken over management of memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.
Please have your messages enabled if you want to correspond with me. I will not use my personal e-mail on this site.

|Denise Brown Biard Ercole||Inglewood Cemetery Burial|
Hi B. J.
I just received the death certificate for Mary Grace Byrd in the mail!! Waited for about six weeks on pins and needles. Mary Grace was less than a year old on 4 Nov 1924 when she died from pneumonia while in California, not even a resident. I think her parents were visiting. Mary Grace was the daughter of my grandfather's favorite sister, and he named my mother for her. Her death certificate lists Inglewood Cemetery, which I guess is Inglewood Park Cemetery now. When I looked up the cemetery I saw that you do volunteer photos there. I was wondering if you could tell me anything about the cemetery and how difficult it would be for me to locate her grave/marker? Do you if the people at the cemetery are helpful to family looking for old graves? She is not listed among the memorials on Find A Grave, so I will add her entry. Any information you can give me would be helpful! Thanks, Denise (firstname.lastname@example.org)

Maud Russell (Fowler) Rush was my husband's great-grandmother, and her husband Wilbur T. Rush (affectionately known as "Dude" by the family) was the only great-grandfather he knew. The photos added by my friend to their memorials were from our family collection - the memorials you created are wonderful - thank you!
We visited their graves yesterday, did a little trimming/tidying of their gravestones. Lovely old cemetery. If you would like to add their grave locations in their memorials they are Curb #1153, 9th row, Section 1145, Spaces 5 and 6.

|NLColes||RE: The dog on your profile page. . .|
Thank you for the compliment. Well, I prefer to say she's a lab/beagle mix. Not sure about the pit bull. Maybe huskie because of her blue eyes. Probably most like Heinz 57. I also have her brother, Brew, and he looks like a BIG beagle. I got them both as puppies at a rescue. Thanks for asking. Take care.

Thank you for the photo of Oliver S. Mason's headstone, buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery, Los Angeles county, Cal.
|Igor Sch||RE: Emanuel & Lillian Wolf|
Thank you very much for the pictures. The other person is actually Lillian Wolfe - looks like that the person who created the memorial for her must have dropped trailing 'E' by mistake. It is a remarkable coincidence though that both women also shared years of birth and death.

|Pat Yoshi||Thank you, thank you!|
B.J., thanks so very much for taking those pictures of my grandfather's and great grandfather's niches! It means so much to me! Can't wait to share these with my sister. :)
Sorry for the two messages. Please feel free to delete the first one where I went on a rant! Should have done my "Forums" homework first!
