My wife, Barbara, and I live in Brookville, Pa. We are retired. We attend the Zion Lutheran Church at Shannondale, Pa which is next to the Shannondale Union Cemetery.

We recently moved to a retirement community. Quite a change from the country farm near Shannondale. Hope to do more cemetery work from now on. I will not be so busy as before.

We have taken many photos at various cemeteries in Jefferson and Clarion counties as part of our genealogy research. We live near Shannondale Union, Westview, Carrier, Paradise (Clarion Cty), Truittsburg, Brookville and Hawthorne area cemeteries. We will do what we can to help.

SHANNONDALE UNION CEMETERY: THE CEMETERY COMMITTEE IS RUNNING A FUND RAISER TO ESTABLISH TRUST FUND TO INSURE PERPETUAL CARE FOE THE DISTANT FUTURE. I am working with Gloria Wolfgong to create a list of those buried at Shannondale. Many graves are unmarked so it will never be complete. Gloria has done most of the work. I have all of her work on cards. I can send what I have for each lot. It is probably the most accurate and complete record of the cemetery. Ken Himes
