I have not had personal contact with any of the descendants of Eliza Dandridge Ruffin and John Oierce Wallace, but have been told there are at least a couple of them still living in the area of Como, Panola County, Mississippi. Believe the names are William Bowen "Bill" Wallace and a brother, Robert McGehee Wallace. Bill is a planter/farmer in the area - born 1946. Robert was born in 1955. This is just from Internet research. If you are willing to travel to Como, I am pretty sure one of the local shop owners might be willing to help you locate family members. Bill and Robert Wallace are sons of James Monroe Wallace, Jr. And his wife, Fredine Bowen. I am not close kin -- a 3rd cousin 2 times removed. But they are family, nonetheless. Best of luck on your search for family! I was an only child, so after my parents passed, I was interested in finding family connections. I have made contact with several second cousins that I am proud to call friends and have had the opportunity to visit. If you don't mind, would you let ,e know how you might connect with this Panola County family?

No I just go to cemeteries in my area and post them for others to see and use.

Hello Jimmy ... I am a Ruffin descendant, but Eliza Dandridge Ruffin Married the "first" john Pierce Wallace (b 1816). They had two children, one of whom was the John Pierce Wallace that married a Sledge lady. All of their descendants are cousins of mine.

I so sorry I'm not related to anyone in Carolan Cemetery, We live in Greenwood, are retired and I do photo's.
We just try to set down on a cemetery near us that does not have many of the stones photo'd, or has several request. It keeps us out & about. Please feel free to share and enjoy them that's what they are there for..Linda

I had to delete my memorial for Minnie V. Warren because it was a duplicate and you added a picture for it. The other Minnie Warren didn't have a headstone picture so I saved and added it to that memorial. I just wanted you to know because I didn't want you to think I was taking credit for a picture I didn't take. In the information on the picture I added that you took the picture.

Thanks, but I'm not hung up on managing "the most" memorials. If you'd rather not add the info to her bio, then yes, I would appreciate the transfer so I can update it. Otherwise, I'm sure she's safe in your care!

|Gerald Henning||Joseph Templeton|
I have been told by a family in McMinnville that Mollie Bryant-Templeton-Patterson-Davis 1885-1963, and her son Harold Edwin Templeton 1923-1991, are buried at a Cemetery in Campaign called "On The Hill" in Campaign, Tenn. According to them they are buried beside Mollie's first husband, Joseph Templeton 1879-1929. However I have found Joseph Templeton in Campaign Community Cemetery and he is 1 of only 2 interments there. Can you shed any light on where Mollie and Harold Edwin may be buried? Is there a Cemetery called "On the Hill in Campaign, Tenn"? I can not find one in Find a Grave. These are not my ancestors as I am researching for a good friend. Thank you for any info you can offer. You do a great service to researchers.
|Ryan Cole||Bowman Photo Request|
I have a question concerning your photo requests on Ruth and Ira Bowman. The photo requests are for the Altoona - Walnut Grove Cemetery. I have checked two different surveys, and completed a personal walk through of the cemetery and have been unable to find their graves. Are you sure that they were buried here? I know Head Hunter has added a Alabama, Deaths and Burials Index for Ira Bowman, that index does not mention a burial location. Hoping that we can figure out some concrete evidence if they were buried here.

Georgia's middle name Lafavre. She is my great great grand mother. She also had another son, George Vandiver Hall, buried there at Rabbittown also.
I have a picture of her taken about just before she died. She was little bitty woman.
