Harriet Grace North Don North
Hi Dale Working,
The picture of the head stone of Harriet Grace North, may I use it in my tree for my children. Harriet Grace (LUEPKES) NORTH is the grandmother to my children through Harriet's son William Eugene Nesvig. Don North is my children's step grandfather.
I want to thank you and all the Find A Grave contributors for all your and their hard work in honoring those that have passed on !
Thank you, Nelda Conant

RE: Catherine Minnick Workinger
I agree that the 23 days is pretty clear. The # of years looks like either 36 or 56. You know how those 3's and 5's can be troublesome. It looks more like a 3, but comparing the 3 in 23 days and in 36 years - the 3's look different. 23 has a rounded at the top 3, and the 3 in 36 is pretty flat on top. That's why I think it's a 5 and the stone reads 56 years and 23 days. Just my opinion . . .
Becky :)

Catherine Workinger - Manchester Cemetery
I was at Manchester Cemetery today and I looked for Catherine's grave but didn't find it. I'll go back and try again -- do you know the location? The older section of the cemetery is quite large and I appreciate any information you can give.
Just happened to think - the photo you posted may help because I can see some of the graves near hers. Will try again soon.

RE: Adam C Thomson
Hi Dale. Yes, I've started doing this: the numbering of grave spaces when there is no headstone. I've found many stones that others apparently could not. So I don't always trust claims that no stone has been found... many times it is just an oversight. When there is no stone, the numbering of the spaces leaves no doubt in the requester's mind(s): or at least the doubt is subdued a bit.

Another thing I do is take a close shot in conjunction with a full grave shot. I find requester's really appreciate this as it is the next best thing to actually visiting themselves. Gives them a sense of closeness.

Charles Thomson (Thompson)
Hi ... I added a photo of the lot card for Charles. Shows he was buried with
Joseph Thompson, d. 1902
Sarah E. Thompson, d. 1911
Thomas Thompson, d. 1929

So they are probably his relatives. I will go look for a headstone soon.

According to the 2001 cemetery reading:

Thomson, Joseph
b. 1827; d. 1902; on lot with Sarah E.; also
on lot with the Thomson Monument

Thomson, Sarah E.
b. 1857; d. 1911

With no indication of a stone for Thomas.

RE: Thomson (Thompson)
The memorial is fine where it is. :) The reading I was referring to was a physical walk-through of the cemetery, where they recorded the headstone information. So my conclusion is that he most likely does not have a headstone; although he is buried there.
