Bio

I was born in 1975 and grew up in Midvale, Ohio.

My grandfather Virgil Albertine (my mother's father) was a son of immigrants Serafino A. Albertini and Vera Marie Sattoria. He is the son of Giovanni Alessandro Albertini and Mary Rose Flaim of Austria. He was born Alessandro Serafino Albertini. He was born in Revo, Austria which became a part of Italy after the war. Serafino arrived by himself and worked in the Midvale Coal mine. His brothers Marino and Pietro came over at separate times. He had friends already over here. One I know of is Giuseppe Clauser. Vera arrived here with her parents Louis Sattoria and Rose Justina Bosetti.

My grandmother Delores Albertine (Kerr) is descended from English, German, Swiss and Irish immigrants. Matthew Kerr(1734-1791) came here from Ireland and lived in Miegs County, Ohio. Hamilton Kerr, matthew's son was noted in the book "Centennial History of Events in the Muskingum and Tuscarawas Valleys. The Pathfinders of Eastern Ohio" He was a known Indian fighter.

Hamilton Kerr married Susannah Niswonger who is a daughter of Col. John Niswonger a hero in the Revolutionary War at the battle of Point Pleasant. Both Hamilton and John helped settle Meigs County in southern Ohio. They are both listed in the book "The Pioneer History of Meigs County"

Her grandmother Amy Alice Pyle is of English descent. I traced this name to when the county of Tuscarawas was formed and beyond back to England with the help of other Ancestry.com members. Traced back to the 1500's

Traced the Pyle and Harlan family to Chester County, Pennsylvania. They were Quakers. I'm descended from Michael Harlan.

My Grandfather Edward T. Keesey is descended from mostly German immigrants. His mother is Susan Pearl Petry. I have added Petry family members to this site. They are mostly buried in Gnadenhutten Cemetery. Petry Hill Rd. in Gnadenhutten is named after them.

My Grandmother Lois Keesey(Angus) is descended from Scottish immigrants. Other surnames in her family I have yet to figure out. The surname Angus is scottish.

Surnames in my tree are.....
Keesey, Albertine(i), Flaim, Sattoria, Bosetti, Kerr, Angus, Pyle, Harlan,Petry, Epps, McCurdy, Schmidt, Llewellyn, Lewis, Thompson, Demuth, Niswonger-(have seen different spellings on this)
